Hello Sananda Maitreya - staff. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Terence Trent D'Arby, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Sananda Maitreya - staff. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Sananda Maitreya - staff|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Sananda Maitreya - staff", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it implies shared use. Shared accounts are against Wikipedia's policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. - This is still not acceptable, for two reasons:
- An account name cannot be named after a notable person unless it is the person themself. We would require verification of this fact.
- An account name that contains "staff" implies shared use. Different individuals can be staff members at different times, which does not conform to the individualistic nature of Wikipedia accounts.
