Repost of Renford Reese[edit]

A tag has been placed on Renford Reese requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, place the template {{hang on}} underneath the other template on the article and put a note on the page's discussion page saying why this article should stay. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of continuing to recreate the page. Thank you. • Gene93k (talk) 14:58, 11 December 2010 (UTC) -===Status and Advice=== As reviewing administrator, I decided not to delete it, as it is an improvement over the originally submitted article. The article was deleted last time in good part because of excessive promotional tone, and some is still present It needs a good deal more work, mainly in the direction of condensation. I shall start. It alittle better, lso needs to demonstrate his status as an expert according to WP:PROF-- this is best done by adding links to in references providing substantial 3rd party independent published reviews of the books in reliable professional journals--not places like Amazon. If you can find them, the article is likely to be kept, but otherwise it's questionable. I advise you to do this very quickly, before the article gets nominated for deletion by a regular deletion process. DGG ( talk ) 21:55, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

additionally, too much of it is a condensation or paraphrase of his home page -- this is a copyright violation, but, even if you give us permission according to WP:DCM, the tone will not be encyclopedic and the material will not be suitable, as is the case here. Everything taken from there must be removed or rewritten from scratch. DGG ( talk ) 21:59, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
