It looks nice there[edit]

I don't know why, but it really bugs me to talk to a redlink. I thought that would be a good way to start your Userpage. You get some deserved recognition and I get the benfit of seeing a bluelink :) --Doc Tropics 03:35, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This sort of move to correct a misspelled title is pretty routine. I went ahead and moved the article and fixed the links to it. Fan1967 15:43, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, can you supplement the article you created with a list of the books that she authored, awards, etc.? This would help establish the subject's notability. Thanks! Regards, Accurizer 14:41, 27 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was working on the booklist as you sent this, and am doing the award next. Both lists are incredibly long. :-) --SHLAMA 14:50, 27 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Oshea Wilder[edit]

I noticed that you wrote the the article on Oshea Wilder. I was curious on why you were interested in this man and if you knew much of his family. I am a direct relative to his sister, Mary Wilder.

contact direct if you wish maficdan @ yahoo <dot> com

Thanks!

Daniel

Thanks![edit]

I just stumbled across your article on Francis Adam Goodman, great stuff. I'm not sure I even realized my great-great-great-grandfather was a state representative. Please let me know if you link any other articles to my site, you've done some very nice research and I'd love to leach if you don't mind :)

Aramaic Wiktionary[edit]

Seeing your knowledge in Aramaic, I believe that you may be interested in something that has been recently proposed on Meta. If you'd like to help us get the Aramaic Wiktionary established, please add your name to the "Users interested in forming an editing community" section, and voice your support in the section labeled "Arguments in favour". Impossible but true mixture[edit]

Except for age, it sounds like you're something like me - Jewish, believer in Jesus, Aramaic, Hebrew, and Koine Greek oriented, maybe other things, except I'm here on Wikipedia only for KAL 007 - so far!Bert Schlossberg (talk) 09:10, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Edward G. Dobson[edit]

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. – moonty (talk) (contribs) 07:42, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 27[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Meyer (surname), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page William Meyer. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Elisheva Shomron has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
