Your photos

I have noticed your recent additions of photos to Koenigsegg CCGT and Dauer 962 Le Mans. Browsing through the photos you have uploaded to Wikipedia, I have noticed a troubling problem. None of the pictures you upload have proper sourcing, no real links to where you got them.

Also, some of the licenses you've used on these pictures are simply incorrect. Some of the photos you have uploaded are actually publicity photos produced by the car manufacturers, and are copyrighted. This is not from Flickr, it is from Dauer itself. You do not even link to the Flickr account from which you obtained it. This is most certainly not from Jalopnik and I actually know the person who obtained these photos.

Unfortunately photos that violate copyrights will have to be deleted. If you are going to upload pictures to Wikipedia, make sure that you are actually obtaining pictures from the proper sources, and that you give proper credit and use the proper copyright licensing. Their use on Jalopnik's Flickr account do not make them his. If you'll notice, his account is full of press release photos and various other photographs that are clearly not made by him. The photos of the R390 were made by a military officer stationed in Japan.

I think you link will also clearly illustrate that, if you believed those pictures were created by Jalopnik, then you uploaded them under false licensing. The photos on that Flickr account are listed under "All Rights Reserved", not "Creative Commons 3.0" like you claim. This is not allowed. The359 (talk) 06:19, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

They are not. The only picturse on Flickr that are allowed to be used on Wikipedia are those that are marked as "Attribution License" BY-2.0, marked by the (BY:) symbol or "Attribution-ShareAlike License" BY-SA-2.0, marked by the (BY:) and (Reuse) symbol. Anything else is not allowed to be transferred to Wikipedia. If the rest of your pictures are from Flickr accounts which are not BY-2.0 or BY-SA-2.0, they'll all have to be deleted. ...that is the same as most of these, including Fine Cars, whom many of those on his page aren't his. I can purely tell that the Fisker one that you uploaded aren't his, as I checked, they come from the manufacturer's website, not to mention that it look nothing like those he took himself. Just want to ask as a Flickr account holder myself, if these photos were yours, how would you feel if they got uploaded without your consent, if this was me, I wouldn't be very happy about it. People have a Flickr account for several reason, one of it is to showcase their work and not everybody there want to hand out their work free of charge as you assumed.
