Do I know you?[edit]

Sorry to sound stalkerish but after reading your bio, I think I might know you. Is there a way I can email you to see if my hunch is correct? If I'm mistaken, then I apologise for quite possibly freaking you out. --TheGrantley 08:48, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Centreline Party[edit]

Hi again. Partly on the impetus you provided, I've had a look at the Democrats 1977-79 material and revised the article. We should both be slightly more enlightened now. (But I would never suggest even Jack would go so far as to register 56 names!) Cheers Bjenks 07:27, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

DYK[edit]

Updated DYK query On August 27, 2007, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Cecil Hunter Rodwell, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Godd to see you about again, Blnguyen (bananabucket) 02:26, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Hi, Roisterer, and welcome to WikiProject
Zimbabwe
!

We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying, categorizing, and improving articles relevant to Zimbabwe. Here are some points that may be helpful:

  • Our main aim is to help improve Zimbabwe-related articles, so if people ask for help with an article, please try your hardest to help them if you are able.
  • Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
  • The project has several ongoing and developing activities, such as the current collaboration, which you are welcome to participate.
  • If you have another language besides English, please consider adding yourself to our translation section, to help us improve our foreign Zimbabwe topics.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you.

Again, welcome! We hope you enjoy working on this project.

WPZW September[edit]

Hi,

The current Zimbabwe WikiProject Collaboration of the Fortnight is Not applicable!
Please read the nomination text and help improve the article to featured article standard if you can.

As the number of people taking part in WikiProject Zimbabwe grows, I have more and more people to notify of changes. If you havn't already done so, please could you add the notice board to your watch list so that I can add any changes there and only once not as many times as there are members. Many thanks, Mangwanani 13:14, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Early Labour MPs[edit]

I don't suppose you've had a chance to come across this image at all? You're very much in to deceased MPs, so I thought you might know a bit about who's who. Timeshift 00:03, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nicely roistered indeed ;-) I've done most of it, however there are ones I have been unable to figure out, and am not even sure if I got some of the first name initials right. Timeshift 09:59, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Playford family[edit]

Playford family, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Playford family satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Playford family and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Playford family during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. -- Jreferee t/c 14:53, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:WakeInFrightAd1.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:WakeInFrightAd1.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 18:45, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adair Blain[edit]

Just some thought, your comment "Honestly, subbstubs really aren't of much use". I beg to differ. If I didn't create that stub, you wouldn't have expanded that article, and it would still be uncreated. Stubs are better than a red link by far. Thanks for expanding it as well. --Borgardetalk 02:45, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

American films[edit]

Hi Roister. I created all of the American film lists by year but so far I've been doing it almost single handedly. I would be immensely grateful if you could help fill in the cast details of pages. From 1940 I've been doing the even years e.g 1940, 1942, 1944, 1946 etc and so far have reached 1972 but I have left the cast empty as I couldn't remember it all as I'm adding the director, genere and studio. Could you help mate? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 21:08, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Members of the Australian Senate, 1901-1903, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: User:Rebecca/Drafts/Members of the Australian Senate, 1901-1903. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. No worries - glad to see something happening with it. I've got a few of these lying around in user space that I've never quite finished and might (hopefully) get around to one day... Rebecca (talk) 11:44, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Style guidelines[edit]

I've posted a call on WP:AWNB to try and get some style guidelines for our pages on individual parliaments. I know you've created a few of these, so I was wondering if you might have any suggestions. Rebecca (talk) 06:56, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you've got a moment, can you drop by the Northern Territory Legislative Council article? I've picked up a couple of problems with it. Rebecca (talk) 00:28, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
