The appropriate place for the WikiProject Biography template is the talk page of that article, not the doc page for the template, BTW. Allens (talk) 04:48, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest[edit]

Hello Rodgenss. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Rodgen Stewart, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about following the reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Yworo (talk) 14:16, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I have fixed all the errors that is why i removed them.

You have not fixed the problem with external links. A deletion template may not be removed until the deletion discussion is over. The tone is still not encyclopedic, in my opinion. You should wait for other editors to remove the templates. Yworo (talk) 16:34, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi thank you but i have removed all external links except the Artists official website. What else am i ment to do?. The maintenance template tells me there is a problem with the external link but it doesn't tell me which 1? how is that helpfull?. I have looked on other artists wikipedia articles and they have an artists offical website listed So that shouldnt be a problem. Please can you sort this out for me please because it is causing a massive confusion

--John Johnson (talk) 16:42, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

About the external links, there should be no external links like this in the article text. All citation should be in <ref> tags and appear in the references section. Also, we don't allow search links to be used as references. Links should go directly to the article that supports the fact or facts being cited. Yworo (talk) 16:37, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Okay I have removed all these now and fixed the problem, Please can you check It out and let me know. When will the maintenance templates be removed? --John Johnson (talk) 17:14, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Rodgen Stewart, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Yworo (talk) 16:30, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Rodgen Stewart,[edit]

Hi. You've been asking for some guidance on the Rodgen Stewart article. The reason this is heading for deletion is because he is simply not notable enough. One day he may be, but just now he's a young man who has attracted some minor local interest, and he's done a few charity gigs. That's not enough for Wikipedia. If you could produce some reliable sources that, for instance, interview him, then this could be reconsidered. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 23:04, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Some advice[edit]

You've persisted and learned how to format and cite an article. Please stick with us and write an article on some other topic you are familiar with, or help work on such articles that exist. Don't let those hard-won skills go to waste! Yworo (talk) 00:13, 24 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Article talk pages[edit]

We do not blank material from article talk pages. They are kept as a record and may eventually be archived, but never blanked. Yworo (talk) 21:57, 25 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Will this article not be deleted?
