Jon gruden.

Dude stop he was just fired by the raiders. He is not the head coach anymore. Tyronezyyy 1 (talk) 01:24, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

@Tyronezyyy 1: On Wikipedia we wait until the team makes an official announcement with any and all transactions, players and coaches both. The Raiders have not announced his resignation yet and we need to wait until they do. Until they do, he is still officially the head coach.--Rockchalk717 01:27, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

He said he was resigning Tyronezyyy 1 (talk) 01:28, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

Where exactly? He doesn't have social media. It's just a report he's resigned. In fact the reports are conflicting, some say it was mutual, some say he resigned. Which is exactly why we need to until the Raiders make an announcement. This isn't a debate this has always been the policy, you can try to change the policy but it's likely to fail because it has every time in the past.--Rockchalk717 01:33, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

My edit is NOT opinion. Making a comment about someone's facial or body features are not inherently racist. Just because two parties are different skin colors and ethnicities doesn't make the comment racist. EVERYTHING isn't racist. It's a condescending, indecent, rude remark. Nothing more. Just because the media says it's racist doesn't make it racist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Deltadawg469 (talkcontribs) 02:24, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

@Deltadawg469: See WP:RS and WP:BURDEN. On Wikipedia, if media say it's racist, it does indeed make it racist for the purposes of mentioning it here. General Ization Talk 02:28, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
@Deltadawg469: You going against what is the popular opinion is the definition of your own opinion. Don't make this political don't make this about your own opinion, the sources that have been provided refer to it as racist. Take your objections to the talkpage of the article and please stop reverting it.--Rockchalk717 02:29, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

Never said it was political. How would this be political? Racist trope is illogical and opinionated in and of itself. The fact you keep reverting when I give a clear and concise edit shows YOUR opinion. You don't even mention who it was about as I did. Because the "media" is never wrong... "Lips the size of the Michelin man". That's not racist. Many people can have big lips. Just because a stereotype exists doesn't make it racist. Save the witch hunt for actual racists. clown.jpg — Preceding unsigned comment added by Deltadawg469 (talkcontribs) 02:33, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

@Deltadawg469: Political doesn't necessarily mean just actual politics. Things being racist or not racist is considered political by most people (thus the term "politically correct"). But you're focusing on the wrong issues here. For starters I have not once stated my opinion on this issue nor do I plan to. I have been referring to Wikipedia policies. The media is referring to it as racist. Per Wikipedia policies (specifically the policies the other editor mentioned above) require us to use what is the majority opinion from reliable sources. I'm not gonna debate if it was or wasn't racist with you, because Wikipedia is not a forum for us to discuss our personal opinions (and yes it is your opinion no matter how badly you want to insist it isn't). You have been provided the relevant policies that apply here. Please take additional objections to the article talkpage. I do not intend to discuss this issue any further on my talkpage.--Rockchalk717 03:10, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
