Speedy deletion nomination of Jabiru airport[edit]
A tag has been placed on Jabiru airport, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. The article Jabiru airport has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- -very little information given, no references.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Assuming that you're referring to the Jabiru airport article, don't worry -- it still exists.
I looked at the article's revision history and noticed that it had been marked for speedy deletion too hastily. In general, new page patrollers aren't supposed to mark a new article for speedy deletion per criterion A1 or A3 within a few minutes of creation.
With that said, I'm sorry that you got bitten. Please don't let that unpleasant experience discourage you from making more good contributions to Wikipedia.
