The Barbeque is sources, it is relevant history to the beginnings of Barbeque and documented in the Journal of Archeological Society. Modern Barbeque in the primitive aspect is cooking meat over a simple fire. No matter if people in the modern world understand this or not.

History[edit]

A 7,700-year-old Stone Age barbecue feast has been described in the Journal of Archaeological Science. According to the article, the remains are found in the Tjonger River valley in the Netherlands.[1] It has been determined that the main course of this BBQ was a Auroch. The Auroch is a wild Eurasian ox that was living in that era. A flint blade was found near the Aurochs bones. The results of the study show that after the female Aurochs was killed, the hunters cut her legs off and sucked out the bone marrow.

Next, it is believed the individuals skinned the animal and butchered it using the Flint tools, reserving the skin and large hunks of Auroch's meat for carrying back to a nearby settlement to feed other members of the clan. Furthermore, chop marks left behind by the flint blade show how the meat was meticulously separated from the bones and removed. The people that killed the Auroch lived during the Late Mesolithic period of the Middle Stone Age.[2]
