Using multiple accounts[edit]

You appear to be using both this account and Ste11aeres (talk · contribs) to edit abortion-related articles more or less simultaneously. The other account has been blocked; please read our policy on the use of multiple accounts very closely and take care to limit yourself to one account, particularly when editing controversial topics. Apology, explanation of non-malicious intent, and description of resolve not to repeat offenses[edit]

I apologise because I did have two accounts. I had set up one, then later, another with a name I preferred, but with no malicious intentions. The purpose was not ever that one account would manufacture support for the other. Due to an accident on my part, it appeared that I was trying to provide support for one account under another account name. This accident was me posting on one account's talk page using the other account's user name. I thought I was using the user name of the account that page belonged to.(as you can see by the use of first person pronouns in that comment) My purposes were not any of the ones listed as "innappropriate uses of alternative accounts." The appearance of such a misuse was an accident, where I believed I was writing under the appropriate account, but was accidently signed in under the other. My wish to maintain honesty was shown by the fact that after I realised I was signed in on the otehr account, I exited and signed in under the other to sign the post with the actual more honest name. The whole thing was a mistake, but I truly did not do it with bad intentions.

    It should have been obvious that if I created a second account this could easily happen. I should have thought it through.
    I am a new user, and made this mistake through inexperience.
  I offer sincere apologies and nothing like this will be repeated in the future.

I'm not sure I believe you. You initially implied that you'd accidentally used the same computer as another user ([1]). Then, when it became obvious that both accounts were operated by one person ([2]), you've changed the explanation to say that you simply set up two accounts because you found a username you liked better. None of this explains why you rapidly alternated between the two accounts (e.g. beginning at 21:28 on 12 Feb), nor why you required two separate accounts to edit controversial abortion-related articles. But whatever - you don't need to keep revising your explanations, since each revision makes me less likely to believe you. Just please use one account, especially on controversial articles.
