Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Hello Ringer, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Kinalas has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Copying from other Wikipedias requires proper attribution[edit]

It appears that you have added material to the article Juan Q. Miranda using content from the Bikol Sentral wiki. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying from other wikis, please at minimum mention in an edit summary at the new page where you got the content. It's also a good idea to place a {{translated}} template on the talk page of the new article. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please go back and provide attribution.
