How are these edits vandalism[edit]

why are you undoing this edit and warning the ip. Please explain how this is obvious vandalism. [1]. You are on the verge of a 3RR block for edit warring. Please explain Calmer Waters 21:18, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

User:184.33.74.211 appears to be making good faith edits to these info boxes and templates. If you don't agree with the edits please utilize the BE BOLD, revert, discuss cycle. Endlessly undoing thier edits for no obvious rational places you in a disruptive position. Also edit summaries and a personal message stating what your issue is on either the template's or user's talk page might help in a situation such as this. Otherwise it becomes an edit war, if vandalism is not obvious. Kindly Calmer Waters 21:31, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from User talk:108.32.103.173 with this edit. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Articles for deletion and Speedy Deletion nominations of Luke Brookshier[edit]

I have added the AfD tag to the article Luke Brookshier for the Articles for Deletion discussion you started, in the future, please make sure to follow all the steps in the AfD listing procedure.

I have challenged your CSD A9 tag on the same page, Luke Brookshier is not a musical recording and is thus not eligible for CSD A9. Monty845 04:52, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

List of Fanboy and Chum Chum Episodes[edit]

Hi Ring2011, I noticed that you submitted premiere dates for "Crib Notes" and "Tooth or Scare" at List of Fanboy and Chum Chum Episodes. Do you have a verifiable source for that information? If not, I am of the opinion that the date should be removed, as the episode hasn't aired yet, and even planned premiere dates can change. Thanks! Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:11, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I've deleted the June 18th 2011 airdate that you've submitted for "Crib Notes" and "Tooth or Scare" for the reasons I've listed above. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:41, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, can you explain why you are reverting the filmography for Randy Edelman? I checked a couple of the movies listed, and he was indeed the composer for them. You are accusing the IP of vandalism, I don't see it but would like to hear your reasoning - thanks! SeaphotoTalk 04:56, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Gorillas in the Mist (American Dad!) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:CRYSTAL

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. JDDJS (talk) 02:10, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit that you made to User talk:65.8.219.174 has been reverted or removed because it was a misuse of a warning or blocking template. Please use the user warnings sandbox for any tests you may want to do, or take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. Thank you. Remember that Wikipedia WELCOMES new users. What you did to this IP user was short of threatening over ONE edit by using multiple warnings. Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism , such as the edit at Monsters vs. Aliens, are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia guidelines. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage newer editors. Please read Wikipedia:NOTVAND for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. - SudoGhost 21:42, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for before[edit]

I didn't see you add any sources to that Futurama (season 6) edit in the edit history, but I forgot to check if sources already existed. You were fine, and I removed my warning. Sorry, dude. KnownAlias X 23:50, 26 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Monsters vs. Aliens. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

In particular, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. Mifter (talk) 21:52, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:The Cleveland Show season 2 DVD.png[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:The Cleveland Show season 2 DVD.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

FYI[edit]

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. -FASTILY (TALK) 23:09, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

July 2011[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hrs for edit warring, as you did at List of Back at the Barnyard episodes. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Toddst1 (talk) 20:14, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Note that you were blocked for edit-warring, not violation of WP:3RR. This edit summary says it all. Toddst1 (talk) 20:16, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

AIV block request declined: User:CoolZoog[edit]

Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, it appears that the editor you reported may not have engaged in vandalism, or the user was not sufficiently or appropriately warned. Please note there is a difference between vandalism and unhelpful or misguided edits made in good faith. If the user continues to vandalise after a recent final warning, please re-report it. Thank you. Your AIV block request regarding User:CoolZoog has been declined. Please study WP:NOTVAND regarding what is and is not vandalism, and in particular remember that "4im" warnings (also known as "final" or "only" warnings) should be placed only in cases of extreme disruption and/or defamation. WP:BITE might be instructive reading, as well, as might WP:CIV, which is a core policy of Wikipedia. Tonywalton Talk 00:34, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fanboy and Chum Chum Episode List P2[edit]

Hi Ring2011, I would appreciate if you would please stop adding episode airdates that occur in the future, as you did once again for Crib Notes and Tooth or Scare at List of Fanboy and Chum Chum episodes recently. If something hasn't aired yet, there shouldn't be an airdate listed. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:15, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of Fanboy and Chum Chum episodes. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. While I usually assume good faith, the fact that I've asked you twice to not submit airdates for episodes, coupled with how you have ignored these requests, leads me to believe that you are intentionally trying to disrupt the Fanboy episode page. The previous times you've submitted airdates, the episodes did not air on those dates. And even if the episodes *DO* air on their planned airdates, it doesn't make any sense to add the information until it happens. Please stop creating unnecessary work for people. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 23:16, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at List of Fanboy and Chum Chum Episodes, you may be blocked from editing. Ring: I've asked you three times to not submit airdate information for this show until the episodes actually air. You've ignored me several times, and you have submitted erroneous information to Wikipedia as a result each time. Most recently you submitted bad data for the episode Rattleskunkupine! which did not air on the day you claimed it would air. Further, you spelled the episode name incorrectly, and the production number you submitted was wrong. As I've said before, I usually assume good faith edits on your part, but given your history of controversial edits, and your history of edit blocks, I'm once again asking you to control your emotional edits, or I will nominate you for administrative intervention. While Wikipedia encourages its editors to be bold, they don't encourage editors to use crappy sources (like the uncited ones you are referencing for your Fanboy edits.) Fan Fiction[edit]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Take Two with Phineas and Ferb. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

Inappropriate warning[edit]

The warning you left at Nickelodeon745's page is completely inappropriate. Please do not "shout" at users like that by using all caps. You also should not threaten users in the tone you did. Additionally, your report of this user to AIV was inappropriate. He had not edited after your warning to him. I have removed him from AIV and replaced your warning on his talk page with a more appropriate one. Please be more mindful of your warnings and reporting in the future. Thank you, either way (talk) 20:41, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ring2011, I also would urge you not to use language like "KEEP IT UP AND YOU'RE BLOCKED" because you are not an administrator. That sort of sharp, emotional language suggests that you wield authority, which you do not, and I'm sure that pretending to be an administrator is probably not something Wikipedia encourages. I also notice that you are warning that user for doing the same thing ("Addition of unsourced content") that you've been warning for doing yourself. For the sake of your fellow Wikipedians, please keep a level head. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 04:36, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notice on Last Edit on the "Inside Edition" article[edit]

Hey there, I wanted to let you know that I corrected the format based on distribution and screen format used by the national networks (e.g. NBC, CBS, FOX, ABC). The edits that I made were based on the Wikipedia articles 1080i and 720p. For example, Inside Edition is taped in 1080i, not 720p, given that the show is produced and distributed by CBS. Do you even know what is vandalism?[edit]

Why did you revert all my edits? They were perfectly legit and they corrected the order of the episodes of List of Back at the Barnyard episodes. I thought you only revert edits because of vandalism but this is clearly not vandalism. PwilliamQ99 (talk) 23:11, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That's not true. The episodes were shown on TV LAST year. How could they have a 2011 air date when they were already broadcasted in 2010? PwilliamQ99 (talk) 23:43, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The episodes weren't shown on TV in 2010, They were 6 unaired, And it was on hiatus in March 2011, When Nicktoons announced in August 2011 that 6 unaired episodes started on September 12, 2011. Nicktoons is airing the final 6 episodes of Barnyard. Remember? Ring2011 (talk) 23:49, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You appear to be mistaken. In December 2010, there was a Christmas marathon where they aired 12 hours of Barnyard episodes. And I remember clearly that episodes like "Clan of the Cave Cow" (which you claim to have a 2011 air date) was indeed aired last year. PwilliamQ99 (talk) 23:52, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No, "Clan of the Cave Cow" did not air last year, It aired on September 19, 2011 Please see September 2011 Premiere Info, October 2011 Premiere Info and November 2011 Premiere Info on Toonzone.net? Ring2011 (talk) 00:01, 12 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That's odd because I do remember that it did indeed air on Nick Canada last December. Don't know if it's different in the United States or not, but in Canada, these episodes did indeed air in 2010. PwilliamQ99 (talk) 00:11, 12 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
In the United States, These episodes did not air in 2010, It did aired in 2011. See Toonzone.net. Ring2011 (talk) 00:13, 12 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well then, shouldn't we include the airdates outside of United States too? See this edit (scroll down). PwilliamQ99 (talk) 00:14, 12 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Only January 2, 2010 to September 18, 2010 on Nickelodeon in the United States. 65.8s says that Season 3 was fake. But for Nicktoons. Remaining episodes started on September 12, 2011 with the episode "Treasure Hunt" and will end Tomorrow night with the episode "Aliens!!!". That's enough talking for now. All My Children[edit]

Hi. In case you're wondering what happened to your edit, I have moved it on the fourth paragraph of the lead because it was too detailled to be mentionned on the first paragraph. However I did removed the info on the first paragraph that said that All My Children would be relauched in January 2012. Also, I have replaced the source you've provided with another source because TV By The Numbers is a fan site, thus not an acceptable reference on Wikipedia.

"Man Up!"[edit]

Regarding your edit on Man Up: when network executives says that they "pulled" a show, that often means "we ended it, but we will probably air the remaining episodes we shot in a time slot were no one will watch them."

So until then, remove all suggestions that the show has been cancelled from the page. It is not cancelled...yet. Freshh (talk) 22:06, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

One Life to Live[edit]

Please do not add ending dates or ending years on shows articles as you did with this edit until they have aired their final episode. The present always has priority over the future here on Wikipedia. Thank you. Farine (talk) 07:07, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced[edit]

Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to Allen Gregory. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Provide a reference saying it is canceled, not just one that says it isn't on the schedule. CTJF83 03:00, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Page moves[edit]

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. —David Levy 20:21, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Season Finale[edit]

Please be sure you have a reliable source for a season finale before adding the date to an article. I've reverted several of your additions of erroneous, and unsourced, season finale dates across multiple articles, most recently for Kitchen Nightmares, which has scheduled two episodes after the date you contend was the season finale. Please be careful about using reliable sources to verify a season finale date. When in doubt, leave it out. --Drmargi (talk) 17:39, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A source announcing the start date for one series is not a reliable source for the finale of another unless is explicitly states a finale date. Gordon Ramsay may have a new show starting in April, but the finale of KN is not discussed in the source you cited, and it cannot be used to infer a finale date for KN. Please avoid such drawing of conclusions in the future, and be sure you have a source that explicitly identifies the finale date for Kitchen Nightmares. --Drmargi (talk) 00:02, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article PlayStation 2, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Once again, please do not add content for which you do not have a reliable source. The Zocalo Restaurant to be featured on Kitchen Nightmares is in Philadelphia, not Chicago. If you're not sure or the Fox schedule doesn't say, don't guess, which is what you've clearly done -- leave the location out. And don't persist in reverting, and thereby edit warring, on the strength of a guess. The restaurant location is now sourced; any further reverts will be treated as edit warring and may result in you being blocked from editing. --Drmargi (talk) 05:13, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Help Survey[edit]

Hi there, my name's Peter Coombe and I'm a Wikimedia Community Fellow working on a project to improve Wikipedia's help system. At the moment I'm trying to learn more about how people use and find the current help pages. If you could help by filling out this brief survey about your experiences, I'd be very grateful. Hello, Ring2011. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Yarn Yoshi, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, LightGreenApple talk to me 23:23, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

ABC vs Disney-ABC Domestic Television[edit]

Just a quick note about this edit. Katie wasn't renewed by ABC. It was instead renewed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television.

Broadcast television networks don't renew syndicated shows. These shows are instead renewed by their respective syndication distributors which can either be Disney-ABC Domestic Television, CBS Television Distribution, NBC Universal Television Distribution or Twentieth Television.

Thank you. Farine (talk) 22:50, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
