To any admin responding to the unblock request... This account has been blocked as a vote spam account. I am not inflexible, but I am highly suspicious at this point. What is the misunderstanding? I see an account created by someone with a high degree of knowledge of how the project runs, being used almost at once to send out dozens of "come vote" notices. This type of notices are considered spam, and are disruptive to the functioning of the project.

I admit that I did not. I saw the fact that it pointed to an "AFD" page, and made a false assumption. I still don't think it's really proper to be spamming people's user pages with this, but given that there's no real AFD involved, it doesn't meet the definition of disruption I blocked you under.
