A tag has been placed on Nextmedium, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ArglebargleIV 22:11, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Nextmedium[edit]

A tag has been placed on Nextmedium, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. Do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created. It is considered vandalism. Thank you. Merenta 22:28, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To see if a company meets the notability guidelines for an article at WP, see WP:CORP, and WP:N. In essence, significant coverage in independent third party reliable sources (see WP:RS) is required. Google and Verizon has lots of reliable source coverage as cited in their articles; they have published financial reports and submissions to the SEC, press coverage, etc. Nextmedium, in order to have an article, needs to show that it meets WP:CORP by coverage in reliable independent 3rd party sources. See WP:SOURCES. The article needs to be written from a neutral point of view (see WP:NPOV) so that the negatives are discussed as well as the positives. If it is too promotional in tone it can be deleted on that grounds as WP:SPAM. It is also important to read WP:COI, which describes conflicts of interest. If you have an affiliation with this company, you should seriously consider whether you are the right person to write an article on it. There is no rule against you writing the article, but many editors will assume that anything positive without a 3rd party source is an advertising attempt and a lack of negative issues as further evidence of it and delete it on that basis. Hope this helps. Cheers, Carlossuarez46 20:05, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit to Row 44[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you removed some content from Row 44 without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! [[Help: The entire page should be deleted as Row 44 has not existed for quite some time now. It was bought by GEE (Global Eagle Entertainment) a few years ago and we are needing to create a brand new page for that company. The fact that this page exists misinforms people and hinders our awareness. That is why I deleted it in the first place. Please do not restore this again.]]Rhyman519 (talk) 21:49, 31 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
