Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Edit to page "2015-16 Nottingham Forest F.C. Season"

Dear Red Jay

You recently messaged me asking if there were a good reason why away games were listed in the City/Town within which the game took place when Forest's home games were given as the suburb West Bridgford. I will gladly respond to your query.

The reason why each of Forest's home games are listed as having been played in West Bridgford rather than Nottingham is because West Bridgford is, in fact, a town that lies outside of the boundaries of the City of Nottingham. Despite its close proximity to Nottingham and NG2 postcode, West Bridgford is a separate town that lies within the local governing body of Rushcliffe Borough Council and the wider governing body of Nottinghamshire County Council (who also have their headquarters within West Bridgford).

As the City Ground lies within West Bridgford, it is in fact situated outside of the boundaries of the City of Nottingham and I list their home games as having taken place in West Bridgford as a result.

Hope this helps.

Yes, I know the City Ground is outside the current city boundaries, but is still part of greater Nottingham. I didn't know who had put West Bridgford, thought it might be a County fan. I haven't looked enough to know whether on other pages what the convention is. Red Jay (talk) 06:59, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Pronunciation of kiln.

All I want to do is inform people of the original pronunciation and that in fact, people still pronounce it the way it was intended. I think “originally” is less judgmental than “archaically.” And “popular” best describes the current tide of people now pronouncing the “n.” Are we close to a compromise? :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Washington-Art-Movement (talkcontribs) 23:33, 12 March 2016 (UTC) Replied at User talk:Washington-Art-Movement

Aguero

So I've recently saw that you've reverted my edit on Aguero and I'm just wondering why you've decided to revert my edit alongside some reasons so I can improve future edits. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PokeFan10025 (talkcontribs) 10:28, 31 October 2016 (UTC) Responded at (talk Red Jay (talk) 11:00, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
