Article of the month – Harley J. Earl Trophy, a good article The Harley J. Earl Trophy is the trophy presented to the winner of the premier – and season-opening – event of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR), the Daytona 500. It is named after influential automobile designer Harley Earl, who served as the second commissioner of NASCAR. Earl has been known as the so-called "father of the Corvette" and designer of the Firebird I prototype that adorns the trophy. The trophy is kept on display at the Daytona International Speedway, while a small replica is given to each Daytona 500 winner. (Read more...)	New Images

Article of the month – Dylan Kwasniewski, a good article Dylan Kwasniewski (/kwəzˈnɛski/ kwəz-NES-kee; born May 31, 1995) is an American real estate broker and former professional stock car racing driver. A champion in both the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and Pro Series West, he was a developmental driver for Chip Ganassi Racing. Kwasniewski most recently drove in six races for Obaika Racing in NASCAR's Xfinity Series during the 2015 season, and he currently works as a real estate broker for Colliers International.(Read more...) Article of the month – Shawna Robinson, a good article Shawna Robinson (born November 30, 1964) is an American retired professional stock car racing driver. She was a competitor in all three of NASCAR's national touring series, as well as the ARCA Bondo/Mar-Hyde Series and the Charlotte/Daytona Dash Series. Two sites that have proven to be big on rumors before, and sometimes eating it in a big way, are Beyond the Flag and TobyChristie.com. Please use other sources, such as NASCAR.com, Jayski.com, or team/driver releases as citations in articles. Additionally, there has been a decline in the quality of the new work being generated by the project. New content, related to silly season or not, should always be reliably sourced so we can avoid the ugly {{refimprove}} tags at the top of articles. Article of the month – 2010 Emory Healthcare 500, a good article The 2010 Emory Healthcare 500 was a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock car race that was held on September 5, 2010 at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia. Contested over 325 laps, it was the twenty-fifth race of the 2010 Sprint Cup Series season. The race was won by Tony Stewart, for the Stewart Haas Racing team. He currently competes full-time in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, driving the No. 19 Toyota Tundra for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing. Article of the month – 2011 Budweiser Shootout, a good article The 2011 Budweiser Shootout was a stock car race and the first exhibition event of the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. It was held on February 12, 2011 at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. The 75-lap race was won by Kurt Busch for the Penske Racing team.
