P.K. Sam

Yeah I met him a few times at our old high school while he was at FSU, and I talk to him occasionally on Facebook, including today. I asked him about this whole thing because I thought he had been released. He said he had to leave because his dad got sick and died, but he came back and signed a two-year deal with them.

Saludos. -- Raymond Cruise 17:00 (UTC)

Dolphins' return men

I just figure with the Welker gone, there will be quite a few guys vying for the return jobs and it's not even worth speculating about right now. We have an idea what the running back position will be like, for example, but the return jobs are more wide open. I think it's best to just leave it blank until we see something definitive in training camp or preseason. Also, I undid some of your other edits as they were not accurate.Chris Nelson 02:00, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Dolphins depth chart

Alabi is the projected a starter at left tackle and has practiced there during minicamp. Rosenthal was signed for next to nothing and he's new to the team. Alab is the clear choice to be the top left tackle on the depth chart, because that's the way it is.

As for Allen, I don't know who your "sources" are (it sounds like you're just trying to sound professional) but Allen is practicing at corner to make him a better safety, per the Sun-Sentinel. Of course he may move back to corner eventually, but for now he should remain at safety until games start.

The linebacker and return spots are different for this reason - we know who will START at linebacker, but we don't know who will be the TOP returner. The returning jobs are completely open, and between guys that are all far from locks to make the team. It could be Vick or he could be cut. It could be Az or he could be cut. It could be Campbell or he could be cut. With the previous return man gone and no clear replacement known (unlike linebacker, where we know Porter will start), the return job is totally up for grabs.Chris Nelson 22:07, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Your "source" didn't tell you anything that wasn't public knowledge. Yes, Allen worked at corner during minicamp. It was reported by a handful of Miami papers. So you can avoid the whole thing about trying to sound like you're "in" and cool.

I mentioned Porter because he's a newcomer. He's a newcomer that we KNOW will start, unlike someone like Hakim.

Also, what are you talking about with P.K. Sam? How am I hating on him?Chris Nelson 23:23, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Coaches

What about the coaches?Chris Nelson 22:35, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

I'm sure I'll update them eventually.Chris Nelson 00:05, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

Dolphins OTs

Cameron said Carey will move to LT and Alabi to RT. I think it's safe to say, if Rosenthal doesn't win a job, he'll back up both positions.Chris Nelson 15:32, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

Real Madrid C

Real Madrid C plays in Tercera División, not in Categoria Preferente. Something more?. You know little of Spanish football. Category:Real Madrid Juvenil footballers??? Is a category without sense. Is a nonsense. Raymond Cruise 13:04, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

Dan Wilkinson

I added Wilkinson back to the Dolphins roster. The reason is that because the official website does not list him and he is almost certainly never going to play again for them (at least under this contract) he is nevertheless under contract as much as any other player. That being the case, he should remain listed until he is officially traded or released, as he is not a free agent.Chris Nelson 06:51, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

Tercera División

OK, Excuse me. Raymond Cruise 21:15, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

Int'l practice squad players

I didn't really understand your comments. I believe they aren't allowed to be on any active roster during the season. It's just to practice.►Chris Nelson 18:15, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

I don't know all the details of the policy. All I know is what I've read.►Chris Nelson 20:39, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

Real Madrid 2008

o.k. , that fine , we need to improve the article by new ideas, any way thans alot.

Soldado

Please read the article again. It clearly states: Roberto Soldado lucirá el '9' en la temporada de su regreso al Real Madrid tras su cesión a Osasuna. I was as surprised as you are, but the ref doesn't lie. Raystorm (¿Sí?) 18:57, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

It means, I'm going to keep doing my job, and if I do it wearing number 9, even better. Raystorm (¿Sí?) 21:21, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
Now you're just arguing for the sake of it. :-) C'mon, he's not expressing a desire (such as 'I wish I could wear that number!'), he's saying he will do his job regardless of the number he wears ('I'm gonna wear that number, but even if I didn't I'd still work hard'). He's proud of wearing number 9, yet humble. The very first sentence of the article is crystal clear about him wearing it. Between you and me, van Nistelrooy should wear it, but maybe he didn't ask for it? Raystorm (¿Sí?) 21:52, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
*Grin* But the article doesn't say he'll play in the position of the 9 (that's obvious), but that he'll wear the number 9 (lucirá el dorsal 9). I like Balboa, saw him in Castilla and liked how he moved in the wing. We've got such good young players, pity most of them will end up in other teams... Cheers Raystorm (¿Sí?) 09:59, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
PS: Real Madrid played their first game today, won 2-0, Soldado came in in the second half, scored a goal and wore number 9. ;-) Raystorm (¿Sí?) 20:25, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Ye of little faith... I expect one big Real Madrid barnstar when you finally see him with his number 9 shirt! :-P (Of course, if van Gol finally keeps it _I'll_ be the one sending you the barnstar). ;-) Cheers Raystorm (¿Sí?) 16:06, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
No idea. I didn't see the game, just the highlights, and obviously Soldado scoring was one of them. :-) I tried to see Saviola's, but no luck. As soon as I find out, I'll give you a ref. Cheers Raystorm (¿Sí?) 20:16, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Reyes

Hi, the link, that you enter, to a source of Reyes move to Athletic is broke. Could you fix it or find another source. Thanks.--ClaudioMB 20:19, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Marion Dukes

Pats1 and I are friends and I think we got it straightened out. He didn't want to do anything without official transaction news, but I was able to confirm that for Tarik Glenn and I think I convinced him I KNOW the same thing happened to Dukes. (Going on the Reserve/Retired list which we don't put on the templates.) Either that or he just got tired of discussing it, haha. But it's cool now.►Chris Nelson 23:29, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
