Constituency articles[edit]

Hello Ramone I'm not sure why you're creating articles like Miaoli County Constituencies or Taipei City Constituencies. Articles on individual constituencies (like Miaoli County Constituency 1) are fine, but the other ones seem pointless. I recall that similar articles were created for Iran, but later deleted as they weren't considered worthwhile. It would be better to focus your efforts on creating articles on the constituencies that don't have them yet. Cheers, Number 57 09:50, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • I did it with reference with the Singapore constituencies. Jurong Group Representation Constituency, i will add more references in days to come to avoid deletion. Cheers! JL 18:04, 17 January 2019 (GMT+8)
    • Sorry if I wasn't clear enough. References are kind of irrelevant here; this is a question of how the constituency articles are organised. There's no point in having an article on Miaoli County Constituency 1 and Miaoli County Constituency 2 AND Miaoli County Constituencies – the latter article adds nothing that can't be included in the individual constituency articles. Number 57 10:10, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
      • Take a reference with Yuhua Single Member Constituency, the individual constituencies for Taiwan isn't quite detailed even though i can edit but combining everything together as reference with the Singaporean constituencies format should be suffice. Cheers! JL 18:27, 17 January 2019 (GMT+8)
        • I'm not sure why you keep referencing the Singaporean constituency articles, as they're not comparable here. Miaoli County is not a constituency, so does not need a constituency article. Number 57 10:30, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to the discussion[edit]

I kindly invite you to the discussion in Talk:2016 Taiwan presidential election to decide whether to include the term "Republic of China" in the election infobox and the lead section as it is the official name of the country. Thank you. Lmmnhn (talk) 10:23, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An invitation to discussion[edit]

I kindly invite you to the discussion on Template talk:Infobox election#The Bolding issue to decide whether to bold the winner in the election infobox. Lmmnhn (talk) 19:25, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to the final vote on the bolding issue[edit]

Thank you for participating in the bolding issue of the election infobox earlier. We are now holding a final vote in order to reach a clear and final consensus. Please take a moment to review our discussion and vote in Template talk:Infobox election#Final voting.

An article you recently created, List of MPs elected in the 2019 Thai general election, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. −== Request for suggestions ==

Hey- I love your work at 2018 Taiwanese municipal elections. But I want to find a way to mention elections on the pages of every local district and county. Do you have any suggestions? Right now I go around every few days and historical maps and information about village names to district pages, but I would like to add more information about elections to local area pages in Taiwan. For instance, what would you suggest I add about elections in Zhuangwei to Zhuangwei's page? How would I incorporate the information on the '2018 Taiwanese municipal elections' page onto the Zhuangwei page, or at least give readers a hint that the '2018 Taiwanese municipal elections' has additional information related to Zhuangwei? Thanks for any suggestions. Geographyinitiative (talk) 11:23, 18 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I made a crude, simple edit that adds information about the 2018 election to the Zhuangwei page- let me know if you have any suggestions. Geographyinitiative (talk) 20:49, 18 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks![edit]

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!

Hello, Ramone122. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Results of the 2020 Taiwan legislative election".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. kingboyk (talk) 11:36, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Pasir Ris–Punggol Group Representation Constituency, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michael Palmer (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Improvement on Constituencies of Singapore-related articles[edit]

Hello there, Sculture65 (talk) 10:49, 8 April 2020 (UTC) here,[reply]

Saw that you have made on-the-ground improvement works into a new table format for existing new constituencies (Group Representation Constituencies in particular), but former or defunct constituencies are not touched. I just want to request if you can do the same improvement works for the other constituencies such as the defunct GRCs? That would be worth help and I like articles which have good consistencies. Thanks!

Hopefully we will meet when the elections draws near.

Hello, I'm will be doing the Chinese part for all the constituencies first before doing the former or defunct constituencies.
