Round-robin auction[edit]

Hello--Your recent addition to "Round-robin auction" in auction reminded me that it had been sitting around unreferenced for a good while. I'm still not convinced it's notable enough to include in the article. It's awkward that I get reminded just as you add material, sorry. If you do find good references for it, maybe it can get its own article. CRETOG8(t/c) 23:43, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Pang Qingnian requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Paste Let’s have a chat. 20:20, 20 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

May 2016[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Tilting three-wheeler, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Dennis Bratland (talk) 21:50, 2 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

September 2018[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Time travel, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. General Ization Talk 21:54, 8 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Time travel. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - DVdm (talk) 08:11, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well, well. I do not know if this is just another way of saying we are not intrested in this, or if you actually do find the source unreliable. Perhaps it is, I am not familliar with the works of the people listed or have any knowledge of their level of expertise. On the other hand the claim was that the theory exist, not that it is correct.
Anyway, I will not add the content again. As I remember, I stoped supporting wiki with content and financial years ago because of all the people deleting instead of improving on content I and others spent time and knowledge to... — Preceding unsigned comment added by RBM 72 (talkcontribs) 11:29, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Please sign all your talk page messages with four tildes (~~~~) — See Help:Using talk pages. Thanks.
So many theories (and "theories") exist. Having them mentioned by wp:secondary sources is what makes such theories sufficiently significant and notable to have them in Wikipedia—see wp:DUE, wp:NOTABLE and wp:FRINGE. That is the nature of Wikipedia, and of an encyclopedia in general. - DVdm (talk) 11:42, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Notice

The file File:TMD5DC.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 28 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
