I need help[edit]

QMA, I think errant has the right of it - your teachers may have made a mistaken, albeit understandable, assumption that the DO of Jungdokwan means 'way'. I was convinced by Errant that that was in error, and he does know the language well. It's ok, teachers do make mistakes - although I cannot think off the top of my head of another martial art that has the 'way' character in the middle of its name. I think 'kwan' and 'do' together a somewhat redundant, actually. --Dan 21:57, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree! June 2, 2007 Bigzilla.

I'm sure you do. Quietmartialartist 16:30, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Translation of old photos[edit]

Hi Quietmartialartist, unfortunately I don't know many Chinese characters, so I can't read the photo. But I put a request on Wikipedia:Reference_desk/Language, and I expect a translation will show up inside of half an hour! --Reuben 16:57, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:Jedi Academy Capture The Flag.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Jedi Academy Capture The Flag.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

{{helpme}} I never noticed a place to enter such information. Can anyone help?

What information would you like to enter? If you'd like to create an article - check out Help:Starting a newpage (this may help, too). If I have not answered what you're looking for, please don't hesitate to readd the {{helpme}} tag back on to your talk page. Thanks, —Qst 20:35, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} I need help with this image I uploaded. It said: "The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images." How do I do that?

Edit the image description page (starting with 'Image:'; the bot has placed a link to it in bold above), and add the information required, removing the {{no copyright holder}} tag at the same time. You just go to the image's page and click on 'edit this page' to add information there. --ais523 16:34, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) If you go to the image's description page (the bold blue link in the warning above) and click the "edit this page" tab at the top of that page, you can add information about the image. Since this image was uploaded under a fair use rationale, you'll need to make sure it includes all of the information that is required on this page. Basically, this means you must state the source (in this case, the video game you took the screenshot from), the owners of the image (the producers of the game), the article you plan to use the image in, and an explanation of why the image meets the other nine requirements specified on the policy page. {{helpme}} I don't understand. The game is Jedi Academy, the producers are LucasArts, how do I include that? Like this: Jedi Academy|LucasArts|Explanation? With two of these { at the beginning and end?

You can use something called an infobox. -Goodshoped 00:34, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've added the information for you based on what you've just said. Sorry if I wasn't clear earlier - the information doesn't go in either of the templates, you can just add it to the page just as if you were editing an article. You can check how I've done it here by clicking here (just be careful not to remove anything!)
(Added after edit conflict) Please don't use an infobox. Those are intended for use on articles only. Hersfold (t/a/c) 00:38, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much. Quietmartialartist (talk) 13:51, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blue moon pictures[edit]

I see that on the Blue moon discussion page, you asked for pictures. I have some. Would you like me to give you the URL (seeing that I do not know how to attach pictures to articles myself). Please reply ASAP on MY talk page please. Thank you! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chimchar monferno (talkcontribs) 04:45, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Here's the link for the picture. http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/9800/bluemoonuc0.jpg . I wasn't quite sure of what you meant by bracket, so I left it alone for now. Chimchar monferno (talk) 06:42, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
