May 2021[edit]

Your editing history shows that you've been mass-removing the hack-and-slash categorization from articles on games that are commonly given that label by reliable sources. For example, you removed that category from Fat Princess, which was referred to as "hack-and-slash" by IGN, and you did it multiple times.[1][2] This is disruptive and cannot continue. You have two choices: either you stop of your own volition, or an admin will be asked to assist you in controlling your urge to perform such edits. Thank you. 78.28.55.108 (talk) 04:27, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please explain why you made this edit in which, as far as I can tell, you removed a link to a perfectly reasonable image for seemingly no reason. 78.28.55.108 (talk) 04:42, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

I'm okay with the second Fat Princess game.

But when the first Fat Princess came out it was at a time where MOBA games were not that well known or popular, I've played the game and it has nothing to do with combat-oriented games it is in fact a team vs team real-time controlling game. But that EDIT was since reverted, so I've read about it and I did not try to re-edit without new information. I've been studying more about how to justify more precise edits with good references.

There are a lot of mishmashes and genre mistakes like calling zelda games RPG games, that did not persist over time. I also fixed things in other wikias like calling Castlevania 2D games "hack and slash games" because they don't fit the genre, and that doesn’t reflect on the community itself and how people refer to these games.

The Witcher games for example are not referred to as hack and slash games and are not similar to diablo or devil may cry games. Those games are not focused on fighting against hordes of enemies so they are not hack and slash games just because Geralt uses a sword. Warframe is also a game that was in that category and no one, no site, refers to that game as a hack and slash game because it is not. It is an online Looter shooter, the focus of the game is shooting stuff with alien guns.

The image in Kivi's Underworld page was uploaded by me and it was the first image that I've uploaded, but I've received a message from a wiki bot that I needed to add some extra copyright information on that image file, so I've preferred to wait for it to delete itself, so it would be better to not have that image in use on a page.

I will take much more attention in future edits and I'm not planning on edit anymore about this genre.

Thanks for the warnings

Do not mark potentially controversial edits as minor[edit]

Information icon Hi Querempaz! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Some examples: [3] (image removal, not minor); [4] (genre change, not minor); [5] (category removal, not minor). 78.28.55.108 (talk) 04:53, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Having spent some time going through your contributions, I'd like you to also take a look at WP:SLOWEW. It is rarely a good idea to repeatedly restore your reverted edits without prior discussion. 78.28.55.108 (talk) 05:39, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, in my talk section I've already had a warning about not using "minor edit" for important ones discussing the Witcher 2 edit that I've made that time. And in this Kirby game case it was probably a mistake of mine.

In the "Kivi's Underworld" image removal it was initially a fix for the reference links in the bottom part of the page, but then I've seen that someone had used the image that I had uploaded just for "test" intention and it was probably going to be deleted because I did not had the intention to edit the copyright information of it.

Thanks for the information and I will take much, much more attention in future edits thanks.
