World AIDS Day[edit]

Plesae stop putting copyrighted material on the World AIDS Day page. I am sure you are correct that the material is not copyrighted, but unless the MCC Web site says so (and it does not) or Wikipedia has written notice in its files giving it permission to use the text, it cannot go on that page. Period. You are violating Wikipedia's clearly stated rules by putting it there. You may wish to rewrite the text in your own words and cite the Web page in which the information comes from. I encourage you to do that. Merely plagiarizing Dr. Perry's text is unacceptable. I strongly encourage you to read Wikipedia's copyright regulations and how to donate copyrighted materials. While you should attempt to format a citation as described below in the How to format citations section of this guideline, it is even more important that material in Wikipedia is verifiable. Add your source even if you are unsure of how to properly format the citation—provide enough information to identify the source, and others will improve the formatting."

I included my citation on my last post here for this proves wikipedia is either hypocritical in its policy or your just naive in the fact that you believe everything a goverment tells you! I remember days of rememberance sponsored by mcc's and then eventually other churches long before the U.N. answered the call. they were simply following a trend.
