Just as a courtesy note, I've contested the prod of the above article and removed the banner. It's not really advertising, and I feel it does meet the inclusion criteria. This would certainly not be an uncontroversial deletion, so I feel, if you wish it to be deleted, you should take it to AfD. Best, PeterSymonds (talk) 16:11, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

There's no point in re-opening the AfD. Even if the article was non-notable before (and it wasn't), it certainly isn't now with new stories from reliable sources appearing all the time. It isn't G11 material either; if you think the tone is too promotional, that's a {{sofixit}} situation. Black Kite 16:46, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

Repost of Wikipedia:WITCHHUNT

Hello, I have tagged Wikipedia:WITCHHUNT for speedy deletion per WP:CSD#G4 as a repost of a page that was previously deleted twice following deletion discussions (March 17, September 6). If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article and put a note on the page's discussion page saying why this article should stay. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Looks Greek to a ...Greek!

I don't know if you've been told already, but your signature reads awkwardly in Greek. We'd pronounce it PSomethean (not like the psychologist; it would be a straight P followed by a straight S like in rhaPSody). Plus our harpoon-like Psi letter (Ψ) would be more suitable for a User:Poseidon rather than the fire-bearing Prometheus, so what's the story? Anyway, if you like exotic letters (grghmbh it's been so long since our language was the lingua franca), here's how a true Greek would write your name: "Προμήθειαν" or "ΠΡΟΜΗΘΕΙΑΝ" in AllCaps. It's an actual Greek word, the accusative case of the word "supply" (yes, you guessed it right, Prometheus means "supplier", because he stole fire from Gods and supplied it to us mortals). BTW if you wanted your name to suggest "he who comes from Prometheus", it would be the awkward Prometheutikos in Greek, so better use the former which spoils the meaning a bit, but at least it sounds exactly the same. Merry Christmas, Promethean! I noticed your card on a few other folks' page, and it is pretty cool :) Just a tip, though, (and please don't take this negatively): When you're doing cards like that, it is best to substitute them rather than transclude, because that way the section can be edited, and also, any changes you make to the page you transcluded, has to be updated on every single page you placed it into.
