Communist flags[edit]

Hi. I reverted your addition of File:Hammer and Sickle..png at various pages, restoring File:South Asian Communist Banner.png. Whilst there are no exact measures here, I feel that the latter is closer to the flags used in the subcontinent. For example, the head of the hammer in your version is too small, and the 'bow' of the sickle very long. I have however updated the file using the colour from your image, which was better. --Soman (talk) 06:30, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vrinda font[edit]

Hello and thank you for providing an image of the Vrinda font here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Vrinda.png I prefer to have the names of fonts installed in my computers display in both Latin characters (the only writing system I read natively) and also the characters which would represent the font in non-Latin systems. I make use of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Microsoft_Windows_fonts on a regular basis (and am working on filling in some of the missing images myself).

I noticed, however, that the image you provided for Vrinda seems to make use of a ligature connecting the characters ন‍‍ (Unicode +09A8, na) and দ (Unicode +09A6, da). On my system, those two letters display as separate characters with two vertical lines connecting them to the overstroke, rather than a single vertical as in your image. Is this perhaps a matter of my not having Assamese/Bengali keyboard support installed, or some other issue? Thank you in advance for your assistance!
