Speedy deletion[edit]

I think this would be better off being deleted as an unremarkable website. Thoughts? Master of Puppets Care to share? 06:33, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It isn't that big of a deal, but try to use the correct one to make it easier for the deleting admin. Cheers, Master of Puppets Care to share? 06:38, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, heh. I cobbled that thing together one time while I was patrolling recent changes, as it looks much better than random blue links strewn all over my userpage. If you want you can go to the page its transcluded from (User:Master of Puppets/Header), copy it, and customize it or such. RE: LDK Solar and copyright. AmericanSolarEconomy.blogspot.com has given bnu authority for reuse at the relevant page: http://americansolareconomy.blogspot.com/2007/11/ldk-drama-in-brief.html. Thanks.

RE: External links at site: These links are a compilation of relevant news articles to the situation surrounding LDK. They are highly informative and to the point.

It's like a full time job to create an article or something. I'm getting copyright warnings by posting in part an article from my own blog, which I've properly added a gnu statement to, and I've posted a series of organized links that point out news relevant to recent events surrounding the company. This is very frustrating. I'm spending as much time trying to clear up moderator issues as I am trying to add content. Where this should be a resource for people interested in the company, it's turning out to be of no value to anyone.

In response to "Please don't take it personally when somebody CSD tags your page. Wikipedia has multiple (upto 100/minute in peak times) new pages created every minute with many (upto 95/minute in peak times) being vandalism, unremarkable or test pages. I'm not even sure how to talk to you. Will you know if I respond to you on my own talk page? Or do I have to do what I'm doing now and talk to you here? (or talk to someone else that acts on my page?)

I'll look into correcting the links by looking at some other pages, but I'd like to get them on there because they are relevant, and it's actually a time-sensitive situation, so a central resource could be of high value.

I'm not spamming you, but you've been kind and helpful. This whole LDK thing has been about a scandal and we've all been waiting for an external audit to prove that the company is honest. The news has just come out tonight!!! This this is going to explode. If either you or anyone you know is interested in stocks, they must BUY LDK today, and take profits on Friday. Here's the news link: http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/071217/aqm072.html?.v=26 My blog is at http://americansolareconomy.blogspot.com and has background. Once again, I'm not spamming, this is the only location on wikipedia that I'm posting this. Check out Google in the morning and you'll see what I'm talking about: http://finance.google.com/finance?q=NYSE:LDK Thanks, Don

I noticed that the LDK Solar page has been marked up a bit. I just wanted to say Thanks!

RfA thanks[edit]

Great success!
Thank you for supporting my RfA, which passed with a final tally of 53-3-2. Special thanks goes to Shalom for both the suggestion and the nomination. I'm honored by the trust that the community has shown in me, and will do my very best as an administrator. Thanks again! faithless (speak) 08:48, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An Administrator is I![edit]

KoL images are copyrighted, so I'll use this PD one instead.

Adventurer! The Council has identified a number of strange occurrences (such as "vandals" and "articles for deletion") in the surrounding wilderness. The Council would check it out, but they have important Councily-type things. But never fear: brave adventurers known as "sysops" roam the lands!

Thank you for your support in my quest to become a sysop. Although I am now wielding the keys to my very own Bitchin' Meatcar, I promise to uphold the laws of the land, martini in hand, in a way that would make Saint Sneaky Pete proud. I will do my best to be a Jack of Several Trades (although I may be a Master of Nuns). I promise to Heart Canadia. And I will make it my goal to Make War, Not ... er, Wait, Never Mind.

I am glad to serve my guild, the League of Wikipedians. If I can be of any assistance, or you have any questions, suggestions, or criticisms in the future, please let me know. And if you are at a loss for what any of the above actually means, see this website.

Thanks again.

Dear PookeyMaster, here is a little note to say thank you for your kind support on my request for adminship which succeeded with a final result of (72/19/6).

Now that I am a sysop, do not hesitate to contact me with any queries you have. I would be glad to help you along with the other group of kind and helpful administrators.

Thank you again and I look forward to editing alongside you in the future. — E talk 12:28, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your VandalProof Application[edit]

Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, PookeyMaster. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. βcommand 02:12, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
