Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because it represents the soul of American ideals and gives me hope to carry on in life.

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --Phillip 2000 (talk) 17:39, 14 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have barely added anything and you still are trying to delete it. This is meant to be a comedy story where several people add a paragraph every few days to once a week, this is just the first addition.

I think it is a very educational piece of work that all men in this great country should read. I mean look at the picture and how detailed and precise it is. You can't get any better than that. If you delete this it would be like deleting the main page of Wiki. Please, do not think do this. Be mature like the Jot. Doggone him. Doggone him.

Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because it has meaningful content in it, which as specifically stated in the guidelines provided for its deletion does not mandate it as being worth deleting. In addition, it is fictional content and as such should not be included in being deleted. The article, while some may say has poor writing (I for one, DO NOT and even if this was an argument, it is not against the rules), is a critical part of many lives and has provided many people with inspiration in their every day life.

Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be deleted for several reasons: it does not violate any copyright information, even the pictures have been drawn by independent artists. This page, as shown by others who protest, provides a source of inspiration to many people. Finally, this page has meaningful content, where even if it is not true (As it is a fictional story), it should not mandate deletion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Divjot Mand fan27 (talkcontribs) 18:42, 14 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your user page is not intended for the creation or posting of original works of fiction, whether yours or collaborative projects with others. Nor is it intended to inspire many people. Your user page is provided as a place where you can identify yourself as an editor, add links for your own convenience or that of others, and so on. It is not a webhost. If you'd like to post fiction, there are lots of websites out where where such content would be a much better fit. Here, it doesn't meet our policies.
