The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
For consistently having incredible reserves of kindness and patience towards all, I award you with this nifty little star. --Merovingian {T C @} 00:14, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I did[edit]

Hi, Phaedriel. I did indeed receive your e-mail, and will reply when I get time. Thanks. And once again — it's good to see you back. Cheers. AnnH 12:58, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have a beautiful user page[edit]

And I'm not referring to the pink background, that's ... to each their own. I'm referring to the wonderful, sad, joyful, hopeful articles. Very well done, true pleasure to read, enough that I want to tell you so. Of course that makes it hard to believe that you graduated school and were unable to read a sixth grade textbook. Let me see your artistic license there. All right, papers in good order, move along. AnonEMouse (squeak) 13:43, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Had to second this notion -- just stumbled across you here. Sorry I didn't encounter you before you left -- your attitude is definitely one we need to keep around here! Glad you're staying with us! — Catherine\talk 23:19, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you and I'm sorry[edit]

First of all let me thank you for your overly fairminded response to the mgtow issue.

Secondly, let me apologize for the behavior of others who have a difficult time seeing any issue as non-personal.

Agian, thank you and I hope said "actions of others" have not caused anything more than a passing aggravation.

re:My friend[edit]

Oh Phaedriel, you make me blush everytime I read your comments on me :p Hey, mistletoe? Its June, not Christmas! Oh well, *kisses*

I'm very honored to be a friend to you as well and I should be the one thanking you. You are my inspiration to return to Wikipedia this time. Cheers, and please, never loose Hope again. ;-) The King of Kings 23:11, 5 June 2006 (UTC) <-- Yes, its Moe testing out his new signature to see what people think. ;-)[reply]

Back[edit]

Hi. I just wanted to say that I'm so happy to see that you're back on wikipedia. This might sound weird, seeing as we've never spoken before, but you're one of my favourite users, and it would have been terrible to loose you from this project. I'm only sorry that I didn't see that you were thinking of leaving sooner, so I could have left this message when it really counted. Anyway, if you ever feel down again, I'm always avalible to talk. Nice userpage![edit]

Quick question: you use both "Indian" and "Native American" on your page - which do you prefer? Also, how do you feel about mascots like the Conard Chieftains? I've heard a lot of second-hand complaints from American Indians (my preferred usage) about such names, but I've never had a chance to ask an Indians personally. Thanks, Λυδαcιτγ(TheJabberwock) 03:40, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the reply! I definitely agree that the sentiment is important. So, I guess clarity is best. In fact, if we are going to group people in terms of skin color, "white", "black", "brown", "yellow" and "red" would be the most accurate. Still, I can't see those terms becoming politically correct anytime soon.
In fact, the same principle applies to the mascots. If we apply WP:AGF to real life, we have to assume that schools choose those names because they admire the Indian reputation, and want their teams to show the bravery that characterizes/characterized an Indian brave. So in fact the Indian mascots can be something to be proud of! Of course, there's also the ruthless and bloodthirsty sterotype to worry about.
Thanks for asking about an RfA, but, despite my userbox, I don't want one just yet. See you around, Λυδαcιτγ 23:52, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Great edit[edit]

I really liked your edit to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/MGTOW. Thanks. I found your user page very interesting and moving too. --Guinnog 19:06, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome back![edit]

I'm soo happy you decided to come back! I'm also a lil' bit big headed knowing that I helped make that decision... I hope you're safe & well & that this stalker isn't bothering you any longer, (or that your bf made him an "offer" he couldn't refuse!).

It can be pretty scarely being a woman out there in this modern world. Women are like dazzling flowers that need every bit of care to blossom. Too often, & too sadly, women are left abandoned & scared. Pretty soon they get attacked by aphids or sat on by a really big labrador. What results is a big upheavel.

As I said it is pretty scarey, the big wide world & you need the right soil & gardner. The world is never as big when you're in it with someone else who loves you & cares for you. Seeing as how we all love you here at wikipedia, (probably debated, but still none more than me), don't feel like you're alone or abandoned in a big garden of aphids. I've had a bad time lately, with my mum in hospital & a huge virus, so I've been alone. But with a bit of help I got through it. So if you feel like you need a ladybug to take away the aphids or some fertilizer (only $14.95 per bag at 4 Square!!!) to keep you going, my talk page is only a few kilobytes thatta way...

Have an extremely nice day & please do drop by my talk. Love, Spawn Babe (Talk page is thissa way!!!). P.S. You'll have to tell me if that array of metaphors & proverbs up there made any sense... :)

I just checked here and it cheers me no end to see you have a userpage again. Welcome back! I cannot say it loud enough, its great to have you back with us Phaedriel (congrats to Spawn Man for helping out :) ), I too hope you have no more problems with the stalker and Daniel (he defiles my good name! :P) Brandt nonsense. Kind regards -- Banes 15:34, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Phaedriel! Its great to be back, and we've all missed you too. *Passes around drinks* All the best *hugs* -- Banes 19:13, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hope you are feeling better after your wikiholiday. :)

designing my userpage[edit]

You popped up on my watchlist when you joined WikiProject Oklahoma, and after reading your userpage (and looking at your work), I'm very impressed. If your offer is still open, I'd love to have mine redesigned. May the Wiki be with you--ragesoss 01:43, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds great!--ragesoss 01:58, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I'll bite...[edit]

I am intrigued. I would like you to redesign my userpage, which looks like it was written by a bear. I am so clueless in all this |- and {{{{{1}}}}} mumbo-jumbo... I ended up ripping apart some userboxes and redoing them manually to fit my needs. I have some changes I already planned for when I am promoted in four hours or so, but otherwise, the page needs serious help. Are you up the challenge? - CrazyRussian talk/contribs/email 01:12, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

File:Motherussia.jpg Hello Phaedriel, and thank you for your support at my request for adminship, which ended with an awe-inspiring 86/1/2 result. I plan to do much with my shiny new tools - but I'll start slow and learn the ropes at first. Please deluge me with assignments and requests - I enjoy helping out. OK Portal[edit]

Hi. I see you created the Oklahoma portal. It looks very nice. You probably don't recall, but we crossed paths before concerning a movie article. I mainly work on Scouting articles. I created and maintain the Scouting portal and Scouting project. The portal is a Featured Portal. I wish you well on your portal and think it could be a Featured Portal too. Consider submitting it. If you do, let me know so I can vote for it. Rlevse 13:24, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimania[edit]

Hey, Phaedriel!

Will you be online later? Sam Klein and I talked on the phone last night regarding Wikimania, and I was wondering if you would be interested helping in designing posters and web pages. Talk to me when you can! Linuxbeak (AAAA!) 13:37, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sharon, thanks so much for your support during my recent successful request for adminship. You're such a special personality here on Wikipedia, and you bring such a positive attitude to everything you do. I've really enjoyed getting to know you. If there's anything I can do from an administrative standpoint, just send me a talk page message or e-mail me. Take care -- Samir धर्म 04:36, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New Wikiproject[edit]

Hello, I am Thetruthbelow. I was recommeded to ask you by Moe Epsilon to join a new Wikiproject I am starting called "The User Page Design Committee". We will assist users in creating a great user page, and will have many great features. As of now, the Founders are, if you choose to join, yourself, GeorgeMoney, Sango 123, Scepter, and Moe Epsilon. I will create the page, but then feel free to edit it. Thanks, Thetruthbelow 21:39, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Userpage[edit]

Hey Phaedriel, I noticed you wrote on your userpage that you like to design userpages, and mine is pretty ugly, so I was wondering if you'd be interested in a redesign? CanadianCaesar Cæsar is turn’d to hear 00:33, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
