Hi! Are you Peter Doyle, Professor of Mathematics at Dartmouth? [1] (If so I met you at as an undergraduate at a June 1991 two week class called Geometry and the Imagination at the Geometry Center.[2] Much of the geometry articles I edit on Wikipedia started from what I learned from that class!) Definitely hard to believe almost 20 years! One of the questions I had leaving the two-week class was the existence of "semiregular 4-polytopes" as I knew the 6 regular ones, and knew semiregulars must also exist. So much later I learned the bigger category is called uniformity, which allows lower dimensional regular and uniform elements, term invented by Coxeter. Now all on wikipedia at Uniform polychoron, and actually last one, grand antiprism discovered by Conway in 1965 (before I was born)! Now we have the internet and wikipedia to share, so kids don't have as much excude to be ignorant! (They didn't apparently get published in book form until 2008, with The symmetries of things.
