Hi - I see you can now make edits, at least to your user page. Do you still need IPBE? I'm still awaiting a response from the check-user request, but they don't seem very quick in responding. — O Still Small Voice of Clam 07:24, 28 October 2020 (UTC)

Hello, Voice of Clam! You can see that I can edit my user page these days. But in fact I have to change many IP proxy nodes in order to find a node which I can edit. I'm not sure whether these IP nodes can be used for a long time or not, especially when someone use these same IP nodes to destroy Wikipedia. Changing IP nodes often is not convenient for me to edit. As for awaiting for the response, I'm in no hurry to edit articles or create new pages because I'm busy in all kinds of tasks in my university, but I will still edit Wikipedia in my free time.  Confirmed, IPBE would be appropriate to grant in this case. Note that I am new to the checkuser tools and this is the first time I've done an IPBE investigation. @Voice of Clam:, would you normally grant IPBE based on checkuser confirmation, or is this something checkusers normally do? --Yamla (talk) 10:20, 29 October 2020 (UTC)
