Hello, Penquista and a belated welcome to Wikipedia! I see that you've already been around awhile and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Numbers[edit]

Please do not change the style of existing articles. Numbers use commas to separate groups at the English Wikipedia, as you can see by browsing articles. There is a manual of style but regardless of what it says, articles should not have their style arbitrarily changed. Johnuniq (talk) 04:51, 20 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your message on my talk, I'm sorry you feel like that but being reverted is part of life at Wikipedia. After all, in an edit like this you changed what someone had written. Should that person feel aggrieved? Different people have different opinions about how numbers should be written, and how words like color/colour should be spelled/spelt, and many other style issues. Not changing existing styles (without extensive prior discussion) is best. Johnuniq (talk) 23:28, 20 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I retire[edit]

Given the stubbornness shown here (Write "English" titles in Spanish, ignore 70 years reference that says that the decimal separation is not with commas, but with a space http://www.bipm.org/en/ CGPM / db / 9/7 /) is that I have decided to abandon the project. I will continue collaborating in Spanish and in French, but here no more. See you never! Penquista (talk) 23:41, 20 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
