Blackfish[edit]

Por favor não contribua com textos em português na Wikipedia em inglês. Entretanto, suas contribuições serão muito bem-vindas na Wikipédia em português.

Please do not contribute text in Portuguese to English Wikipedia. Your contributions are more than welcome at the Portuguese Wikipedia. --Yngvadottir (talk) 16:11, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for creating Blackfish (documentário). However, we already have an article on this subject, Blackfish (film). You appear to have translated it, so I wonder whether you intended to create your new article on the Portuguese-language Wikipedia rather than here on the English-language Wikipedia? If you have a copy, please go ahead and upload it to pt.wikipedia, here. I can give you a copy in a sandbox here if you did not save it on your computer. Hi again! Register on pt.wikipedia if you have not already done so, and then create the article there by following the link I gave you; here it is again: http://pt.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Blackfish_%28document%C3%A1rio%29&action=edit&redlink=1 . That should take you to the page to create an article by that name on that Wikipedia. (I see you did save the text, because you put it into your sandbox here.) It is possible that they have a rule that new editors cannot create articles. In that case you should get a message telling you what to do; possibly you need to wait a few days and make a small number of edits to other articles first. But most Wikipedias allow anyone to create a new article. As to linking it to the English article; that happens afterward and is now done through a separate Wikimedia project, but don't worry, either another editor or a bot will do it pretty soon after the pt.wikipedia article appears. All the Wikipedias in different languages are run separately, and it quite commonly happens that someone will write an article for one on a topic that already has an article on one or more of the others. Again, thanks for creating the article! Yngvadottir (talk) 17:04, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
