Re: Header enforcement[edit]

People have a habit of changing the template line, specifically {{Please leave this line alone (sandbox heading)}} and the HTML comment line below that. That is what "headers" it is enforcing. -- AllyUnion (talk) 20:52, 8 Apr 2005 (UTC)

wikibreak over?[edit]

I see you've started getting involved again. Got your internet all sorted now? Its been pretty quiet since the whole martin2000 / nitram0002 incident. -- Tomhab 09:58, 20 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Did you ever receive an email from me before? I'll give it another go. -- Tomhab 21:38, 23 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Majority/vast majority[edit]

Its only a small point, but I think its reasonably important to make the distinction that the "Haifan" Baha'is are far larger in numbers than the Remeyites. You're right about the French NSA being dissolved with three members supporting Remey, but Joel Bray Marangella was on the NSA chair. You'll know him as the Orthodox's third Gaurdian.

The Orthodox Baha'is seem to be vague on numbers, but at a guess, 1000-2000 (going on the 77 localities which is very up to date - was updated around a month ago -, would likely have been less in 1960, and 20-30 per locality) against a Haifan Baha'i 3 million or so (1960s?). Thats 1500:1 comparing my guess of orthodox numbers now with haifan numbers then and even if I'm drastically underestimating the number of orthodox Baha'is, its still over 100:1.

The reason for it being important to make a distinction, is that unlikely Christianity where around half are catholics, and maybe 20% are anglicans (completely guessing here), there is a huge difference between the Baha'is shisms.

Let me know your thoughts. -- Tomhab 14:08, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

No matter, Occamy has changed it now... -- Tomhab 23:19, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

And the mysterious PaulHammond returns[edit]

Mind you I've been too active recently -- Tomhab 13:10, 13 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Archiving[edit]

You seem like a guy who knows how to archive. And I'm a guy who doesn't. The Baha'u'llah talk page is extremely big and I want to archive the majority of it. any suggestions? Cunado19 8 July 2005 02:53 (UTC)

CiN mini-episode[edit]

What the bloody hell's it got to do with you? How dare you demand excuses from me. The revert wars over "minor" issues are not your concern unless you're replying to the RfC, in which case you should have done it on the article talkpages. I have every right to threaten to call in Jimbo if I want to, as well.

I never said that the mini-episode would be consistent with the general CiN program. Since the Radio Times said that it would be half and hour (see the scanned image on Khaosworks' talkpage) I assumed it to be true. Keep your nose where it's wanted.--TheDoctor10 (talk|email) 16:49, 14 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

If you edit Wikipedia for the experience then I pity you. Most people edit it for the information of other people. You may be "an editor" but I've never come accross you before, so I needn't have anything further to do with you. In the words of Christopher Eccleston, shunt off!--TheDoctor10 (talk|email) 07:07, 15 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

back from vacation?[edit]

Yes I had an exciting time with that guy you noticed in my archive. He thought I was a CB cause I reverted his deletion of the picture. I tried very creative ways of getting the picture removed, but to no avail. Now I've settled on keeping it at the bottom.

BTW, I changed my page to take away any arrogance about my first few edits. Cuñado - Talk 18:26, 16 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstars[edit]

Barnstar of Diligence for work on the Bahá'í Pages

Barnstar of Diligence

For services rendered to the Bahá'í pages (and there are a bewildering array of very obscure ones) I, MARussellPESE, present PaulHammond the Barnstar of Diligence which is awarded here in recognition of a combination of extraordinary scrutiny, precision and community service. These pages are the better for your services.

Also awarded to, in no particular order: PaulHammond, Occamy, Geni, Rboatright, and Tomhab.

Sorry for being out of touch[edit]

Hey Paul, sorry I sort of disappeared for a while. I had some job and personal stuff that got me right out of things, both Wiki-wise and regarding personal communication. I'll touch base with you sometime in the next couple of weeks. -- Christian Edward Gruber 19:53, 12 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

My Religion[edit]

I am as much a Hindu, as I am a Sikh, as I am Muslim, as I am a Buddhist, as I am a Jew, as I am a Chr!stian. (paraphazing and extending Mahatma Gandhiji quote).

It is easier to describe me as a universalist -- that's really what I am. See universalism I'm best described as a Neo-Pagan. Though I do have a few Sikh friends. *pets Sikhs* --Chèvredansante 00:52, 18 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
