Notability of Nestoras Kommatos[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Nestoras Kommatos, by SkierRMH (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Nestoras Kommatos seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Nestoras Kommatos, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 10:24, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Panagiwtis! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 5 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 938 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. D.J. Thompson - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Giannis Kyriakopoulos - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  3. Smiljan Pavič - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  4. Giannis Iliopoulos - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  5. Chris Pearson (basketball) - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 22:54, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Chris Pearson (basketball) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Apparently a non-notable player in basketball clubs

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. LadyofShalott 17:57, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there PANAGIWTIS, VASCO from Portugal here,

do you have any source regarding this player's height? I don't think so, but i have (see LINK#3 in his article, WWW.FUTBOLME.COM). Please don't change his height again, please respect other people's work. WWW.TRANSFERMARKT.COM says 1,85, but the player is Spanish and the LINK#3 is also Spanish, so it must be the correct one.

Attentively - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 16:44, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Giorgos Dritsas moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Giorgos Dritsas, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Kifisia is not yet promoted[edit]

Hi there, Kifisia needs 1 more point to secure promotion to Super League. There is the chance that Kifisia loses both games and AKFC win both games, with AKFC eventually getting promotion. Since the promotion is not yet secured, we cannot officially put Kifisia in Super League 2023-24 yet. Nevechear (talk) 18:32, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
