East Barnet[edit]

Hi

Are you sure the area just to the north of Oak Hill Park, the B197 joining Cat Hill and the Library, the railway bridge etc do not count as part of East Barnet? Simply south 20:23, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The East Barnet / New Barnet 'border' is a bit vague. However having lived in the area all my life I'm certain that East Barnet Road north of the the junction with Brookhill Road is in New Barnet. The address of the health centre near the junction is 'East Barnet Health Centre, East Barnet Road, New Barnet'. Park Road (by the Library) is also New Barnet. When i was younger i always thought it was East Barnet. Oh well. Lived local somewhere :) Simply south 21:13, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Councillor[edit]

For some reason you changed the spelling of Councillor to Councilor on the Brian Coleman page. The proper English spelling is with double L, hence the shortened version Cllr. However the correct spelling remained on the link to the Councillor article. Page94 23:50, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

D'oh! Sorry about that. It accidentally sneaked onto my spelling corrections list. I should have noticed it too, as the double-L in British English vs the single-L in American English is a fairly common pattern. I've removed it from my list anyhow.
