Corrected incorrect licences on book covers[edit]

Image:Encyclopedia.Rizaliana.JPG, Image:Encyclopedia.Rizaliana.Student.front.JPG, and Image:Encyclopedia.Rizaliana.Student.back.JPG are all non-free book covers protected under copyright. Their use on Wikipedia is allowed but only on the article of their book. It is critical that the licensing information be corrrect. I have corrected the license to read: {{Non-free book cover}} on all 3 images. If the article is ever removed from Wikipedia, these images will also be removed as non-free images without a fair-use reason. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 02:14, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

2 of 3 non-free book cover images removed[edit]

I removed this image from Encyclopedia Rizaliana. It is customary to have only 1 copyrighted book cover for a book. Back-covers are not typically used. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 02:29, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Encyclopedia.Rizaliana.Student.back.JPG)[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading Image:Encyclopedia.Rizaliana.Student.back.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Jose Fadul[edit]

If you look at this you can see that an IP added the deletion tag. I then declined to delete the article and removed removed the tag. The conflict of interest arose because the article was created by User:Fadulj who has name appears very similar to the subject. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 14:37, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Child prodigies[edit]

Hi, in response to your message, please be aware that failing to meet the definition is only one reason for removal, and the edits you refer to may not be for that reason. Other frequently deleted entries are due to unsourced entries, improperly sourced entries (linking to an article that does not specifically state that the subject is a child prodigy), or entries using a self-promotional website as their source. If I deleted an entry and you believe that none of these apply, please let me know which one, and we can discuss it. A subject may in fact be a child prodigy, but without including the necessary information, it will be removed from the list. Freqsh0 (talk) 10:47, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been accused of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Fadulj. Thank you. -Freqsh0 (talk) 19:45, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Acquired Death Aversion Deficiency syndrome, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Acquired Death Aversion Deficiency syndrome. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. \ Backslash Forwardslash / {talk} 12:02, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Encyclopedia.Rizaliana.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Encyclopedia.Rizaliana.JPG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk 17:41, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Encyclopedia Rizaliana has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable book, published on an on-demand service (Lulu)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
