You are being warned[edit]

Please refrain from tendentious editing by removing native names of Armenian and Kurdish villages and exclaiming that Armenians shouldn't edit Turkey related topics. If you continue with your disruptive edits, I will send you to ANI and you may be blocked from editing. Proudbolsahye (talk) 19:31, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Was that a joke. I'm not going to allow Kurds and Armenians to vandalize pages to do with Turkey. Wikipedia is an objective encyclopedia and since both Armenians and Kurds lack objectivity on anything to do with Turkey sources originating from them cannot be sourced.

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 00:46, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reported[edit]

I warned you. You continued. Now I have reported you. Proudbolsahye (talk) 01:55, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

March 2013[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for WP:BATTLEGROUND mentality, personal attacks against other users, and generally not being here to write an encyclopedia. The diffs supplied in the ANI discussion clearly show an unwillingness to work with others, and blatant POV editing. You cannot simply say "every source from this ethicity/country is unreliable". You also cannot accuse other editors in edit summaries without evidence, simply because you don't like what they do. Should you be willing to agree to edit according to our policies, you can be unblocked, but you're going to need to show a complete change in attitude.. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Qwyrxian (talk) 03:36, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Im going to report for adding unsourced information onto Wikipedia. You will understand that this isn't your ultra nationalist playground.

Request reason:

I have been blocked indefinitely by Armenian and Kurdish Ultranationalist irredentists for removing unsourced information. The incessant editing and addition of contrived Kurdish names to predominantly Turkish provinces is purely a work of Kurdish ultra nationalists. No sources are give. The names are corrupted versions of the original Turkish names. Ozan192 (talk) 14:41, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The blocking admin is, according to his userpage, a native English speaker who currently lived in Japan. No valid reason given to unblock. This is an encyclopdia, not a battleground.--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 15:19, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

This is an encyclopedia, not a billboard for Kurdish irredentist ethnic nationalism. I removed all the unsourced names of the provinces because non of these provinces have notable Kurdish populations nor do Kurds have any history in any of these regions. These edits are purely the work of Kurdish expansionists. If you're going to allow ethnic nationalists to edit Wikipedia just as they wish then I retain the right to undo their edits. Secondly, non of wikipedia pages on ANtep make any mention of Kurds so I dont see why the apparent Kurdish names are even given.Ozan192 (talk) 16:17, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. --jpgordon::==( o ) 16:44, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

The reason I was blocked was because I deleted the Kurdish names from regions which did not have Kurdish populations/history etc. This upset some Kurdish users who incessantly edit pages to do with Turkey to justify their irredentist claims. The reason I was blocked was because certain users were constantly adding fake names to regions and I was undoing their work because it wasn't sourced or proven. If somebody can simply put something on a wiki page without even being able to prove it using an objective source then I believe that the edit must be removed to help maintain objectivity. Ozan, just to save you a little more time, let me be clear exactly why you were blocked:
  • You attacked other editors in edit summaries and on talk pages, calling them "irredentist nationalists" without any evidence of that.
  • You edit warred to keep your version in Wikipedia.
  • You failed to discuss the matter civilly to attempt to reach consensus.
  • You rejected sources for no reason whatsoever, other than that they didn't conform to your preferred version.
  • You rejected other sources because of the ethnicity/nationality of the author, making a blanket claim that all people of that ethnicity/nationality must be biased. That is contrary to both policy and basic common sense.
Note that none of these says you were blocked for adding or removing certain names. You could be right in the underlying content dispute--maybe those names don't belong in Wikipedia. If you want to help show why that is, you need to commit to a major change in behavior. If your next unblock request does not address these issues, then your talk page access will be removed, as, at this point, you're just wasting administrator's time by continuing the behavior that warranted the block in the first place. • That still does not address the reasons you were blocked - personal attacks, edit warring, ethnic insults. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:42, 30 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

After reading the complaint made I finally realized what was going on so I will respond to every claim made about me. Accusation of racism - The user proudbolsahye has accused me of making racist comments. He has somehow managed to convince a few admins that I was being racist without any proof of it. Accusation of Personal attacks - This is probably referring to when I said "was that a joke" which I don't know how it can even be considered an attack. I was simply shocked that he had the audacity to even threaten me with a report considering he had edited pages without providing sources or trying to discuss why he was making those edits. Accusation of calling Kurds/Armenians vandals - He has somehow turned me saying "I will not allow Armenians/Kurds to vandalize Turkey related pages" to me somehow implying that all Armenians/Kurds are vandals. Accusation of disruptive editing/edit warring - When I looked at the pages (Antep region pages) and saw that there where Kurdish names I was surprised as it seemed irrelevant as there were no mention of Kurds in any Antep related pages. I was also shocked because some of the names were the old Turkish/Arabic names and some were just the Turkish names spelled with the Kurdish alphabet. before I deleted them I checked each page to see where they were sourced from and found out that there were no sources. On one of the pages however there was what I thought was the source of these names however the link led me to a book written in Turkish/Kurdish. The book was a Turkish to Kurdish translation book on anatomical terms and medicine related phrases and questions. After a scan through some of its pages I couldn't find any relevant material. After that I checked the discussion pages to see if the inclusion of these names were discussed. They were not so I went ahead and assumed that it was the work of a random IP nationalist and proceeded onto deleting them. Accusation of not signing - The message on how to sign was sent to my user page later so I didn't know how to do so. So essentially whats happened is the user proudbolsahye has made edits without providing sources and discussing them and when I came and deleted them he immediate undid all my edits without providing a reason why. He did this twice and then reported me so I didn't remove his work. He has accused me of battleground mentality when it was he who was fighting me. If calling people nationalist is an insult then I will stop. However if there is a user who is incessantly editing pages without sources/discussing and is dong so on what I assume to be a nationalist agenda then I will have to remove his work as uncited material will be removed/challenged according to wiki. I have not made any comments with the intention to insult/attack and I will not be doing so. Ozan192 (talk) 18:30, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
