Sri Lankan Moors

Hello why did you remove my source along with the estimate I put?. Muslims in Sri Lanka made up 9.7% of the total population in the 2012 census not 9.2% they numebred 2 million in the census not 1.86 million. The link for the 2012 census is broken and does not work and you cant just take estimates from the CIA world factbook and say it was in the 2012 census that doesn't make sense. I provided a reliable source.2600:1700:2F01:CDC0:7CE1:DAAF:CD18:9B63 (talk) 05:28, 3 July 2023 (UTC)

Census data takes precedence over minority rights group questionable rounded up figure of 2 million. It's not hard to find active links of the census data, so citing that the census link is broken is a weak argument. Btw it is extremely unlikely that SL Muslim population is exactly 2 million. What do you mean MRGI based its figure off the 2012 census in the entry it mentions "according to the 2012 census" for example. Also in the website link you sent it shows 1.96 million Muslims in the 2012 census not 1.86 million. It's actually not a broken argument because how will people know what you wrote is true? They will check the source you cited and see for themselves and if the source is not working or the link to it is dead than it's just words to them. I suggest adding the website link you just sent to the 1.86 million figure population.
MRGI have clearly rounded up the true figure from the 2012 census to make exactly 2,000,000. I've added another active link to the latest iteration of the 2012 census. Oz346 (talk) 18:03, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
