The change you made to the article Bustard was different than the classification of this family in Wikispecies, why I reverted your change, please see Otididae on Wikispecies. If you have information indication that the species officially has been transfered to another order, information that is in conflict with Wikispecies, then please give me a note on my talkpage. Please dont see this personal, if you are a specialist on birds, then by all means continue editing on wikipedia, and if you were absolutely right when you changed order, I will not stop you, but it has to be backed up with a verifying source. Best regards, Dan Koehl (talk) 03:23, 13 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Owlphant, regarding the taxonomy of Bustard, I do respect and value your point of view, and have answered you on my talk page, and also asked the community on Wikispecies for their input. Please feel free to make your input there and follow the discussion. Best regards, Dan Koehl (talk) 09:56, 13 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I believe you are right, after reading your link and ITIS position, where Bustards (Otididae), and the family Otididae are put in their own order Otidiformes by ITIS, and presently I agree that those two sources validate a change of order. Dan Koehl (talk) 14:51, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Owlphant, I hope you will accept my excuse for my revert on your change on Bustard, I did it in good faith, but now I understand you were right, I undid my revert of your change, and I would like to encourage you to change again, putting the brackets [[Otidiformes]] around the order Otidiformes. If you need any assistance on how to use source citations etc, please tell me on my user talk page, I will be most happy to assist in any way.
Please also read the discussions on this topic on Wikispecies Village pump at Classification_of_Bustard. I hope you may consider to join Wikispecies, maybe you will be the one who creates this new order on Wikispecies, which is presently not existing.
