Christmas Island (Sonic)[edit]

Sorry to have offended you, but have you ever stopped to think that perhaps I wasn't being funny? I spent my time searching for other people who came from Christmas island, and not finding any, I decided to leave it at Sonic the Hedgehog (who, if you look, on Wikipedia, comes from Christmas Island) and let other contributors add there own. Assuming my contribution was vandalism is extremely bad faith, and very offensive. I suggest you look a little closer next time rather than taking it upon yourself to insult and act officious. I am glad to see that someone has now copied the text of your deleted article onto your text page so that it is not lost.

This little incident has made me curious as to what established process there is in these cases. I think a good case was made for a merge of your material on the article for deletion page (by myself and others) and I do wonder why a simple deletion was adopted at the risk of losing good work done.
