Welcome![edit]

Hello, Orangesky6791, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Georgia O'Keefe, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! –CaroleHenson (talk) 21:53, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Georgia O'Keeffe request for input[edit]

I posted the Georgia O'Keeffe#Request for input: Intro and Career subsections today and took my stab at summarization of the type of requested input we're looking for. Of course, you are added to that section. I am posting here in case I missed anything or there's anything you'd like to clarify -- please feel free.–CaroleHenson (talk) 18:34, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request edit[edit]

I hope I am not overwhelming you with information. I have memory and brain processing problems, so it's easier to get information out while it's still in my head. I don't foresee anything new right now, but if it's too much, let me know.

Here's an example of an {{Edit request}} - a pretty good attempt at identifying the requested edit and source. Not how it has to be done, just an example that came in my watchlist this morning.–CaroleHenson (talk) 18:59, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, I forgot the link to the example. It's here: Talk:Meghan,_Duchess_of_Sussex#View_Park–Windsor_Hills,_California.–CaroleHenson (talk) 01:51, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Not at all! I am just working on some other wikipedia related projects, so it might take me awhile to respond. All this information is incredibly useful! I am hoping to tackle what we have been talking about in the next few days! Stay tuned. I really appreciate the help and I think the "minor" changes has already made a giant improvement on the page! Okay, great! I don't know if you noticed, but I added this post: Talk:Georgia O'Keeffe#Request for input: Intro and Career subsections and there has been some feedback and a bit of an update to the article. Good luck with all that you are working on. No rush, I want to give people that were pinged several days, or perhaps up to a week, to respond.–CaroleHenson (talk) 01:48, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I just saw it and responded to it! Happy to see someone else adding to it. I made some suggestions, but I agree on waiting on others to see and respond to the post. (Orangesky6791 (talk) 02:11, 29 June 2023 (UTC))[reply]
Great! I saw your post - great response. Thanks!–CaroleHenson (talk) 02:39, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Georgia[edit]

Hi, I have been feeling bad that I may have pushed you and others away from the article. It seems very likely now to me that my actions, like collapsing conversations and making changes to close out to-do items, pushed you and others away. I am going to totally step back and hope that you feel like improving the article in ways that you find are important.–CaroleHenson (talk) 18:01, 13 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi!! You have not, at least not me!!! So I am actually planning an edit-a-thon at the O'Keeffe Museum. So it has been taking up a majority of my time. After next week I should have way more time. I have read your edits, I just have not had a moment to respond and give input. I am so sorry!! I feel bad because you have been really diving in and I have barely scratched the surface. I think if anything progress has been made and I appreciate everything you have been doing. I am also still new to Wikipedia, so it is just taking me a minute to adjust. I will make it a point to look over everything and take time to comment. I am definitely not giving up on this page and I hope you do not either. But if you need a break from her page I totally understand, I find this page a little overwhelming. (Orangesky6791 (talk) 21:13, 13 July 2023 (UTC))[reply]
That's really good to know. I can be pretty WP:BOLD and so I am glad you didn't feel run over. Yes, I find the article a bit overwhelming - and really found the talk page overwhelming. Good luck with all you are doing!–CaroleHenson (talk) 22:30, 13 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you would like to look like you're not a newcomer, you can put anything on your user page, even just a space, and your name will appear in blue on the watchlist.–CaroleHenson (talk) 22:32, 13 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Just did it! Thank you so much! (Orangesky6791 (talk) 16:12, 17 July 2023 (UTC))[reply]
