July 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Mohanlal, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. — dαlus Contribs /Improve 09:12, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Mohanlal. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. — dαlus Contribs /Improve 09:37, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

August 2008[edit]

It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Shiva. Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. BorgQueen (talk) 13:53, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your good faith edits in Mammootty is much appreciated, but please don't remove cited sentences as you did in intro. Thanks Suigeneris (talk) 21:33, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shahrukh Khan[edit]

Please stop reverting my edits. If you wanna copyedit, do it, but please do not remove important sentences. It is considered vandalism and may cause your BLOCK. ShahidTalk2me 17:52, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Don't worry, I've been enough time on Wikipedia to familiarise myself with policies. You fully reverted edits of a well-established editor. First of all, sooner or later it will be reverted, not because of that, but because your edits are incorrect; you had removed the fact that he's a Muslim, you had restored a copyrighted image, you had removed sourced info and full important paragraphs etc. This is nowhere accepted and could definitely get you in troubles. If you feel something is unnecessary, discuss before removing, becuase another editor may have worked hard on it (how much more so when it comes to entire important paragraphs you removed).
On a more lightened note, as I see I'm finally talking with an intelligent guy with whom I can collaborate very well, I welcome you with open arms. I'm now going to make copyedits. You have to know and understand that before making such drastic edits as yours, you have to use the discussion page, and not engage into edit wars. Regards, ShahidTalk2me 19:51, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The matter is not "an insult to an editor's toil" as a result of info removal, but the importance of this info - which is high. Anyway, thanks for understanding. You are clearly going to be a good editor. ShahidTalk2me 20:51, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There are no peacock terms - there are facts, which are sourced thoughout and written considerably. I mean, notable facts, I have toned it down and considered your edits as well if you noticed (the logic ones). The wax statue is a great achievement, and it is more than important, because it's an international recognition the actor received, in addition to being well sourced. Cricket edits[edit]

Keep going. You are doing good work. A lot of the cricket articles (especially Indian & recent) are bloated with irrelevant and current affairs stuff. Tintin 06:20, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thank you. — dαlus Contribs /Improve 23:02, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
