Uploading images[edit]

Thank you for uploading free images/media such as Image:Herring gull SML.jpg to Wikipedia! As you may know, there is another Wikimedia Foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In the future, please upload media there instead (see m:Help:Unified login). That way, all of the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons (you may view your previous uploads). Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Non Free Images in your User Space[edit]

64.131.64.0/19 is a large portion of AS25847 containing many distinct server units. Please restrict this block to the offending IP addresses, rather than taking out a /19. IP addresses in this range are usually distributed in blocks of 4. I use an address in this range as a secure gateway to the internet for my personal traffic, but instead am being penalized for the misbehavior of other IP addresses when I wish to edit wikipedia.

File permission problem with File:Solar interns.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Solar interns.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
