Feedback on Transgender article![edit]

Hi Omar,

I have just done my edit of your sections for the transgender voice page - looks great! I just had a few questions/suggestions...

1. In the first paragraph, it seemskind of choppy, I wonder if integrate the last two sentences might help it flow better (e.g. transsexual women trying to feminize their voice represent the largest gender non-conforming group seeking speech therapy services, therefore, most studies regarding transgender voice focus on vocal feminization, as opposed to vocal masculinization. 2. Also, the terminology used: cisgender, pitch, Hz, etc. - are they defined earlier in the article? If they are, great! If not, you might want to provide a quick definition for clarity. One more terminology note: are you using transsexual and transgender interchangeably or are they meant to refer to different people? Just a curiosity question and it may be helpful to define! (again, I am not sure if they are defined earlier on). 3. You give an example of a technique to shift resonance and I was unsure if this is necessary if there is another section of the article that will cover techniques. If not, I think that the example is great! But if there will be a techniques section, it may be repetitive to include here :).

Hope these suggestions are helpful and great job again! Nancy Zee (talk) 21:04, 26 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Ali (I think),

Thank you so much for you input! I agree the first paragraph is choppy, and your suggestions will help it flow better. The terminology will be linked to other wikipedia articles or defined earlier. Thanks for reminding me. The techniques may not stay in my section, but we haven't decided yet.

Thanks again! Your feedback is very helpful. Oozav (talk) 00:07, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
