Unfortunately, you cannot create an article about yourself or your friends in the encyclopaedia main space. However, if you wish you can tell us a bit about yourself here, as long as you intend to add further Wikipedia articles.--File Éireann 23:29, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your change to the page Jallianwala Bagh Massacre was determined to be unhelpful and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any tests you want to do. Some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers. On Wikipedia, all users are entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable, with reference to reliable published sources. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. -- Johnny06man 02:57, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Userboxes[edit]

I've never created any userboxes from scratch, but check out Wikipedia:Userboxes. There is a list of existing ones there, and some tips for making new ones. If you make userboxes, make sure they are in your user space, not the article space. By the way, please note that if you want to leave a user a message, you should use their talk page. Mine is at User talk:Swpb. User pages are usually only edited by that user, and it's considered a sort of personal space on wikipedia. Editing another user's userpage can be seen as vandalism, and less seriously, may irritate a lot of users. Check out WP:USER#Ownership and editing of pages in the user space. — Swpb talk contribs 00:14, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Indian Collaboration of the Month[edit]

Collaboration of the month
Hi there! WP:INCOTM is a WikiProject where editors from different parts of India choose an article and work on it collaboratively throughout the month.
It is a great opportunity to interact with experienced editors from the community and to get the feel of collaboration - one of the reasons and advantages of editing Wikipedia!

This month, Anil Kumble has been the article chosen for GA/FA of the month. And you being a fan of Indian Cricket team, I invite to you to join this collaboration and contribute in making Anil Kumble a good article. BPositive (talk) 06:55, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
