Hi Omnijohn,

I found your remark at the Roland Garros talk page. However, you did not name your source there. Would you please? It would be so useful for enhancing the article. I have entered some souces at that talk page too.

For now, the Roland Garros article is very inaccurate at several points, but being a native dutch speaker, I will first correct the dutch Wikipedia text. The english article is probably an ill-translated version of the excellent german one, and the dutch and french pieces are even worse, sloppy translations of the already dubious english article.

However, it might well be summer before I can do much work on the English article. Feel free to edit the current article and enter your knowledge; the Wikipedia is yours as much as anyone else's. Anyway, you can't do too much wrong here. Even if you don't read german, you could check the german article for basic data: biographics, plane types etc. I am not an expert, but you can drop a message on my talk page either for discussion or for information about the german text. To get a near immediate answer, leave a message on the Roland Garros section of my dutch talk page. Please remember to sign with the four tildes ~~~~ or use the sign button above the edit screen.

The article Josh Kelly has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

all biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Notice

The article Bloc Party (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Disambiguation page not required (WP:ONEOTHER). Both entries have effective hatnotes.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
