New articles[edit]

Thank you for contributing articles such as Robert Beloe. However these articles are taking a lot of time from other editors to tidy them up into an acceptable form for the encyclopedia. Please note in particular:

  • References should be cited in full, not just a URL given. If you are citing a book using Google Books, give a proper reference as if you were citing a book in your hand, and add the Google Books URL as a bonus.
  • But if you are only going to give a URL, do not put it in square brackets within the <ref> tags: this makes it difficult for readers or other editors to see what sort of quality of sources are being used, and to see whether an apparent large number of references are the same one repeated.
  • If you are going to re-use a reference, please give it a name the first time you use and then re-use it by name. See the various amended versions of articles you have started to see how to do this.

Thank you. PamD 16:18, 19 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
