If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Joseph Kowalski requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. E. Fokker (talk) 23:56, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Joseph Kowalski has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Autobiography of a young person and budding director/writer who does not (yet) meet Wikipedia's general notability guidelines. Most of the references used in the article do not conform to the guidelines for reliable sources.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi there! I see that you have removed the " proposed for deletion" tag I placed on the article you created on Joseph Kowalski. Reading your reasons for the removal of the tag, I'm wondering whether you are aware of the notability criteria for inclusion of biographies in Wikipedia and, in particular, the notability guidelines for people in the entertainment industries. I suggest that you also read the guidelines on reliable sources with particular attention to the section on self-published sources. Finally, if you are, or closely associated with Joseph Kowalski, I suggest that you read the strong advice against creating autobiographies on Wikipedia due to a possible conflict of interest. Please forgive me if I'm way off base on this last point one but your username does rather indicate a possible connection. As far as the article itself goes, the next step will probably be that it is nominated for deletion for the reasons I gave originally. In that process, other editors in the Wikipedia community will come and look at the article and arrive at a consensus as to whether it justifies inclusion here or not. If you genuinely feel that this article meets Wikipedia's guidelines for inclusion or have any questions about anything I've written here, you are welcome to post a message on my talk page. I'm happy to help, if I can.--CharlieDelta (talk) 09:46, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again. I've been keeping an eye on this article over the last month or so and I've also checked from time to time for any evidence that this bio meets any of Wikipedia's notability guidelines. I've not seen anything yet which meets these criteria. I'm sorry about this but unless you can find something which counts as a reliable source to support the assertion of notability, the article will probably be nominated for deletion and the community will decide whether it is to be kept or not.--CharlieDelta (talk) 22:25, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:One-Day-A-Musical-Filming.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:One-Day-A-Musical-Filming.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 23:18, 8 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
