A Stupid Idea 1

Does "Wario Dies" qualify as a meme? I want to include it in the List of Internet Phenomena.

Wario Dies is a meme where the Nintendo character Wario dies in some way, ranging from realistic to completely absurd. Some examples include Wario getting:

• killed in a falling elevator whilst eating Oreos
• shredded in a woodchipper whilst birdwatching and drinking Coca-Cola
• killed in a car crash after spilling coffee on his lap
• shot to death in the Vietnam War
• blown up after failing to cook meth in the 2013 videogame Payday 2
• blown up in the bombing of Hiroshima whilst eating spicy curry
• destroyed in the end of the universe after dying in the 2003 GameCube videogame Wario World
• torn apart by wind force after attempting to use a broken parachute

And that's only the beginning. So... what do you think? Worthy?
