Hello[edit]

I see you have created many nice articles in English, some Chinese words are really hard to translate, can you tell me how did you do the translation please? thanks a lot!----Benjamin Jiperus (talk) 06:37, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I'm bilingual, and I was a history major in college... I think it's just a matter of being familiar with doing it. (I do quite a bit of translation work at my church as well.) For translation, experience is in fact, important, and you can't get experience without trying it.  :-) --Nlu (talk) 06:38, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Nlu[edit]

Hi I'm writing an article on some ceramic figures in the British Museum (Chinese Tang tomb figures) which are said to come from a general called Liu Tingxun (-728) who worked for maybe! Zhang Zhongwu. Do you have any extra information as this person appears quite important. Oh and Merry xmas! Victuallers (talk) 16:28, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It does not ring a bell, and I don't see a person with that name in Zhang's biographies in the Book of Tang or the New Book of Tang. If you have an image, can you send me a link so that I can take a look? Thanks. --Nlu (talk) 16:32, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for December 24[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Meng Chang, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Liu Chengjun (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
