Editor review[edit]

The strange red link in the editor review section of your talk page might want fixing. And, for what it's worth, if you do have any relation to another editor with a similar first name, I was just trying to ensure that a bit of history is preserved and made available to be easily referenced in the future. Also, I figured going way over the top wouldn't necessarily be taken badly by the individual concerned. If you aren't that other person, then you have no idea what I'm talking about, and kindly ignore this message. Badbilltucker 20:27, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Renaming[edit]

Well, if the laws of kamma are applied, then this current instantiation of your whatever-it-is-that-is-perpetuated-through-rebirth should have a very happy life :-)(P.S.If you know a Mark O'Dell of Gaithersburg, MD, married to Beth, working at IBM, tell him his old soccer buddy says, "hi!" :-) ). reply to many things[edit]

Hi Nina, thanks for your messages both on and off wiki. I'm sorry about the delay in replying, I'm currently away and I don't always check my messages when on holiday. Yes, you can use my talk page as a template for your own. I do wonder about your new name, and I also want to say how touched I am by your dedication to Iris Chang. I've never read her work (though I will), and I wish I had known her. Thanks again. --Kyoko 21:18, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just don't[edit]

What you said to Elara was wrong and not at all right, okay? There's no formal warning for personal attacks, but I can tell you right now to stop insulting Elara and anyone else like that.Just don't ever do it again, and your feeble attempts at covering it "Sorry Elara, feel free to delete this" DO NOT make it in any way a civil message.Read WP:NPA and WP:CIVIL. There are NPA warnings {{npa2}} through {{npa4}} - I've gone and used {{npa2}} below. --Kind Regards - Heligoland |Talk |Contribs 23:01, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Very well then; I was too upset to read that chart that shows all the warnings. Thanks anyway, at least now the warning is on record. The more unique one still stands, of course.DoomsDay349 23:02, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
For the record, since it's on my talk page, I wasn't speaking to Elara.Nina Odell 23:08, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And another thing. Tough tits and toenails if my language offended you or anyone else. It beats the holy hell out snarky, back-biting comments like I saw about Elara. I'll never go back there again, and I wish Wikipedia could delete and salt it. At least it's off Wikipedia. And another thing, I am never, EVER, taking it back.Nina Odell 23:20, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ummm...I assume you're talking about the first Esperanza MFD?I'd like to point two things out to you right now.One is to please read WP:CIVIL, as yeah, language is considered incivility, and also the "feud" between me and Elara is, for the most part, resolved.Look over her recent talk page if you want proof of that fact.DoomsDay349 23:24, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have no idea who you are, or what you're talking about.Nina Odell 23:26, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Except for the part about civility.Nina Odell 23:27, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK then.Forget it.Forget we've ever spoken; life is easier that way. DoomsDay349 23:29, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Personal attack on Elaragirl[edit]

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. NinaEliza deletion request on my talkpage[edit]

I would also like my user page deleted as well. I think you're asking for deletion of, basically, NinaEliza/everything.Could do, but given the comments above about WP:NPA and WP:CIVIL I'llhave to have a look at NinaE and NinaO edit histories before I do it - thing is, it's a complete nono around here to request deletion to hide evidence of having been, shall we say, unpleasant to people .If I'm not back before 2007 I'm either lost in your edit histories or (more likely) lost in the pub. Happy New Year either way.Tonywalton  | Talk 00:18, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your support...
Thank you ever so much, NinaOdell, for your kind words and understanding in my time of need. I deeply appreciate your support, and I hope to be there for you, should you ever need help.

-Hi Nina, thanks for all your wisdom and support. I try not to take responsibility for the actions of others, though I do worry at times about the effects of my own actions. Regarding Esperanza and everything related to it, you're probably aware that I quit the organisation largely because of the emotional impact it was having on me. And yet, I feel compelled to follow its fate as its existence is up for debate... I first joined Esperanza because I clicked on somebody's green "e" and learned of the group's goals. I thought, "Wow, that's a great idea," and signed up. I tried to support other people, and other people have supported me. I think we should all care for one another regardless of labels. Hmm, I think I will have to modify this template to eliminate the Esperanza link. I am sorry about how everything turned out. Oh, and I never did find out about your name change. I'll just leave a couple more messages and then I'm off to a party. I'm not sure what else to say right now, other than thanks again, and I hope you have a Happy New Year! --Kyoko 02:44, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Appreciation[edit]

Dear Nina, Thanks for offering your help on the article which i created a couple of days ago.. I would really appreciate if youtake a look at this .The article Gonagala massacre is claimed to be NPOV by the user Rumpelstiltskin223..Though i have no idea why he even say so and all my calls for evidences ended up in deaf ears..Hi seemed to having problem with the word "massacre" in this article. while mysteriously failing to see that the same word is used many times in the wikipedia..Frankly since this is an obvious massacre of innocent civilians , to my knowledge the word "massacre" fits more than anything else..I strongly believe in the neutrality of any article, and I have done my best to keep it here.Every single incident or comment is well cited and obvious forany one who goes though this article. Once again I must admit that I am touched with your sincerity and eagerly looking forward to work with you to make this a better article. Happy new year ! --Iwazaki 17:25, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • comment Dear Nina, once again thanks a lot for taking your valuable time in helping with the article.I just went through with it, and found it very well worded while keeping the true essence..BUT, I would like to have a change in the word "presume", as it might give an impression to readers that "This is only an assumption without proof" .It is quite obvious with the evidences ,including the ones from the eyewitnesses, also by the track record of the LTTE, this massacre was definitely carried out by the LTTE..This is a typical LTTE massacre and as usual they don't even deny it.So I'd like to have "this was carried out by the LTTE" instead.thanks.--Iwazaki 08:32, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • furtherWhile I accept the fact ,Google serve as a base for knowledge these days, It is also quite advisable not to count on it totally..As I've noticed in many cases, there is considerable number of false propaganda spread by the LTTE supporters over the Internet and we need to carefully analyse these.

If its possible try to read the books I added as the references, those are written by experts of global terrorism. Thanks. --Iwazaki 10:27, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks. you are indeed doing a great job here. Also, Nina, the references covers a much broader issues of LTTE terrorism, not only massacres. They are quite good for anyone who wants to learn of LTTE.I found them at my school library in Japan and I am sure it wont be that hard to find them anywhere else. Meantime please have a look at the following link.It gives a brief description of LTTE suicide bombings.[1]
  • Sorry I was asleep when you post comments at my talk page.I did see the pictures,now..Though pictures Don't look pretty, I do support the inclusion of them..There should be at least one or two pictures to make the article a better one.Pictures worth thousands word, aren't they ?? You have put tremendous time and effort to make it a look more neutral and better.Thank you for the job well done.So I don't see any reason to have that "POV" tag any more. Thanks a lot for the "Happy New Year" greetings! Wish You all the best.--Iwazaki 05:36, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • citationsThe following link takes you to the LTTE article, where you can find the citations(quite a few) which shows LTTE is a banned organization.terrorist group..thank you--Iwazaki 06:33, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reagerding this[2]. Nina would you like to rename Malmedy massacre as Malmedy mass murder? --♪♫ ĽąĦĩŘǔ ♫♪ Walkie-talkie 17:12, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok I'll agree with you and I like the way you work here to keep the neutrality of the articles , but Nina, snowolfd4 has done a great job by helping you to sweep out the povs' from Gonagala massacre. What I still can see from you is your disagreement of those . Is it? I'm ask this from you is, because I have solution for that. --♪♫ ĽąĦĩŘǔ ♫♪ Walkie-talkie 17:30, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Simple, first you have to take a copy of the neutrality disputed text area to the talk page of the article and make it like this.

<!--- neutrality disputed text area ---!>
Current version: The Gongala Massacre was a massacre that occurred on September 18, 1999, in the small village of Gonagala, located in the Ampara District of Sri Lanka. According to reports, over 50 men, women and children were hacked to death in the middle of the night. The massacre is attributed to the LTTE, which is banned as a terrorist organization by a number of countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, India and the European Union.

My opinion: Change the word massacre into mass murder
<!--- end of neutrality disputed text area ---!>

Then ask for comment from other users.

<!--- Comments or Solutions---!>
Comment- TEXT --SIGN

Comment- TEXT --SIGN
Comment- TEXT --SIGN

<!--- end of Comments or Solutions ---!>

Until the final solution coming out from talk page leave the neutrality disputed tag on the article. This might help to reduce the edit wars on the article and do not forget to assign some time to finish the discussion or else you may have to wait several weeks to take the final solution from others. --♪♫ ĽąĦĩŘǔ ♫♪ Walkie-talkie 18:12, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Use of word "massacare" in articles[edit]

Hi Nina, thanks for all the work you've done editing the Gonagala massacre article and making it NPOV. But you did removed the words "massacre" and "hacked to death" from the article. I have to disagree with you there cos I think the words are quite acceptable in Wikipedia and are used quite often. The most obvious example I can think of would be the article Mai Lai Massacre, one of the most famous massacres. The word "massacre" is used 14 times in the article (yes, I counted :) ) and I'm pretty sure there are no objections to it been used.

I totally agree with most of your other edits and thanks again for improving the article, and I hope when we resolve this, we can all agree to remove the POV tag. Cheers. --snowolfD4( talk / @ ) 02:43, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome![edit]

Hi, NinaOdell, welcome to WikiProject LGBT Studies!

We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying, categorizing, and improving articles regarding lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and intersex people. LGBT Studies covers people, culture, history, and related subjects concerning sexual identity and gender identity - this covers a lot of ground and your help is appreciated! Some points that may be helpful:

  • Our main aim is to help improve articles, so if someone seeks help, please try to assist if you are able. Likewise feel free to ask for help, advice or clarification.
  • Many important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
  • If you have another language besides English, please consider adding yourself to our translation section, to help us improve our foreign LGBT topics.
  • The project has several ongoing and developing activities, such as article quality assessment, peer review and a project-wide article collaboration, all of which you are welcome to take part in. We also have a unique program to improve our lower quality articles, Jumpaclass, so please consider signing up there.
  • If you're going to stay awhile, please create a square in our project quilt! You can put anything you want in it.

Dogs - You're Welcome[edit]

You're most welcome, but, there's no need for you to back out! :-) Personally, I need to understand the distinction between extinction and recreation of a breed better. If I remember correctly, the article that was deleted was about a recreation effort (Winston Olde English Bulldogge). Before I champion for the breed and the breed's article, I need to be absolutely certain it is not akin to something like the NinaOdell Olde English Bulldogge, for example. Even if 30 people have one of these dogs in 10 different countries, that still does not immediately mean to me that WP should have an article about them. Keesiewonder 14:35, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Keesiewonder, does the Wilkinson Bulldog article have enough external links and reference book citations for you to vote to "keep"?If not, then it reaffirms my conversation with NinaOdell that hundreds of additional articles on the List of dog breeds can be successfully deleted.IMHO rare and extinct breeds should be allowed at wikipedia not only the one's recognized by the major Category:Kennel clubs and/or the FCI.The establisment of organizations such as ARBA or the ARF recognize these issues. If members of the Wiki dog project aren't online with these statements, then the project is doomed to be dramatically downsized, with some editors, myself included calling it a wiki failure. In regard to the Old Winston Bulldogge article that was deleted by an adminstrator without even a vote being called here is nice piece of history on the breed OWB.I like the aluminum street sign Olde English Bulldogge STREET SIGN best myself -:) Headphonos 15:54, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
My things are Religion, Gemstones, African-American history, and alternative sexuality. When I say I have "no dog in this race", I mean it. It's also nice to greet the person who "owns" the talk page when you're posting there. In any event, hi!

There are too many rather large nina-shaped holes in Wikipedia for me to be involved further, that's really my point. I just want to help Headphonos find his "holes" on Wikipedia, because I think he's a fine writer. Nina Odell 16:25, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi NinaOdell! Hi Headphonos! (FYI, you each posted on my talk page before I ever posted to either of you ... But, I'm sorry if the 'it's also nice to greet the person' reminder was meant for me.) My approach with this is to do one thing at a time. Right now, I am focused on getting the speedy delete of Winston Olde English Bulldogge overturned. Regardless of what I might say in an AfD on that article, I do not like the fact that from what I can tell, it was speedy deleted inappropriately. I am interested in this issue in part because I want to better understand the "powers" and "privileges" of admins. Most of my books are in storage right now, which is very frustrating for me. So, I just came back from a trip to a local Borders. One book I bought was an encyclopedia-like book on dogs. Stay tuned, keep the faith, and be patient! :-) Kind Regards, Keesiewonder 20:00, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Also, I tagged a comment of my own on to the conversation you two had about the 1800 breeds that would have to be deleted if ... I asked for the list in good faith. You could email it to me, also in good faith. Keesiewonder 20:07, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Typo[edit]

Responses[edit]

The Neetham article looks good. There are what might be a few spelling errors (I don't know) and I think the Morality section would probably work best as paragraphized. I think the book referred to in the text is believed to be a transcript of what one god told another god, and that discussion seems to have been rather far-ranging, including religion, history, what have you. And believe me I know how torturous some of the text can be to read, so I am in no way faulty you for not necessarily being sure what was said. I don't want to say how long I'm spending trying to work on the Ayyavazhi article, and I'm not really completely sure what that articles saying all the time myself. Regarding the two project proposals you have in mind, a few ideas come to mind.

  • (1) I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "Mental Health", and I think others might have the same questions. There is a Wikipedia:WikiProject Psychology, and several Medicine projects, but I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to. Some clarification as to exactly what you are referring to might help. For the record, I did note an old proposed project for wikipedians with mental health conditions. The individuals who indicated interest were Salix alba, Anonymous anonymous, Dubhagan, Leon 2323, Q0, Matteh, Masterjaime, Icelandic Hurricane, and Dylan Lake.
  • (2) The same question comes to mind with "alternative sexuality", as I don't think many people would necessarily know implicitly what is being referred to. This might include bestiality, celibacy, LGBT topics, and it's hard to know what else. Again, some clarification might be in order.
  • In any event, generally the best way to go is to inform any people who you think might be interested (or any projects which you think might have members who might be interested) in the subject that you are considering creating one, and then create an entry on the Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals page for it. If you would want any help setting up a few proposed project pages, let me know and I'll see what I can do to help there. Badbilltucker 18:46, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your help needed[edit]

I saw your balanced edits to one of the massacre series articles in Sri Lanka. There is another one I just created. It is called Mylanthanai massacre. It is coming under sustained in my view POV edits because unfortunately those who were killed although innocent Sri Lankan's must have been born to a lesser mother. Anyway you seem to have the power to restrain the raging hormones of some of our editors. If you have the time, take a look at it and make it WP:NPOV. The version I want you to check out is [3]not the current version which has been hacked.

Also there seem to be an attempt to remove valuable references from Nagerkovil central school bombing by a potential misreading of WP:RS. The reference is[4] it is secondary source of documents before the internet became popular. Much appreciated. Thanks RaveenS 06:44, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mylanthanai massacre, all referenced you need to rewrite it are avaialble within the article as a reference or as an external link. Please feel free to edit it as you wish.
I know it happened, I know people were indicted, I know the soldiers were let go by a all Sinhalese speaking jury, I know the judge was upset, I know the AG refused to appeal much to the chargrin of relatives and HR groups and I will also go through HRW and AI report to get more information about it. We have all the time to fix it. Thanks —The preceding unsigned comment was added by RaveenS (talkcontribs) 17:58, 7 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]
You dont have to rush in to take care of this issue, take your time. I was reading about Iris Chang today and the follwing statement caught my eye Chang was also reportedly deeply disturbed by much of the subject matter of her research. Writing about these massacres in Wikipedia has affected me and my personal life too and I am sorry to have brought you into it.RaveenS 00:26, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Netham[edit]

Firstly, Thanks for your works in Ayyavazhi related articles. You have done good and have caught all the points of the section, Morality. You may proceed. Once again thanks very much for your works.

I also request you for more copy edits in Ayyavazhi-related articles since my english is imperfect. Can i hope, "you will help me" by doing so? Thanks very much once again. - Paul 17:52, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I re-edited the section Inclusiveness and exclusivityin Ayyavazhi article, since I started a new article on that section as Inclusiveness and exclusivity in Ayyavazhi. Sorry that i reframed the section within few days of your copy-editing works to that section.

Also Iam on a trip to Chennai and so I may not repond quick to the articles and the discussions for two or three days. Thanks - Paul 19:08, 7 January 2007 (UTC) [reply]

I noticed you were a copyeditor with the League of copyeditors. Are you too busy these days to help me with an article? WikiprojectOWU 22:27, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think much work is there but it could benefit from copyediting. Take a look. Thank you for the very quick response! I very much appreciate it! Good job with the intro, but I don't think that is the part of the article that needs help. People already agree that it is well written, but is "bloggy" (don't ask me what that means).

Luciferianism[edit]

I've seen many definitions of Luciferianism. From what your friend says, it sounds like thats more Melek Taus/Yezidi oriented. The idea that Lucifer rules Heaven and Earth. See the Al-Jilwah. I guess that would fall under "Religious Luciferianism" where the article is concerned. Like all the Satanism/Luciferian articles though, there are many points of view.

Thanks for the support. Mainly the articles need more detailed work and account. Like I said on one talk page, LaVeyan Satanism doesn't even mention Satanic ritual (aside from the Black Mass). The main problem is keeping things NPOV due to the many extremes when it comes to views on Satanism (fundamentalists Christians delete pages and tell us we're going to hell, others make LaVeyan Satanism the main page). Its tiring. Just follow Wiki guidleines and you can't go wrong. Just general detail work is helpful. Personally I'm trying to revamp the LaVeyan Article (adding ritual, explanation of Satan, etc). Once again thanks for the support. WerewolfSatanist 02:58, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My friend Rev Mike seems to think that there was a hole here for me. Thanks again. If I think of anything I'll be sure to ask you and your friend. Have fun filling those holes. =)WerewolfSatanist 03:07, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi[edit]

Dear Nina, disruptive would be the last thing I do..I have serious concern with some of the articles here..Articles has been used for "propaganda" for certain groups..And to defame a democratic country..this and this and lot others were created in a hurry ,to back up this propaganda..Even though the articles clearly says ,Jury "Acquitted" them ,the Author still pushing his POV here. There are many more articles like this and Of Course I am and will question them. And These citations do not come from News-papers or International recognised Organizations,These are coming from a dubious source..I don't think wikipedia is a place where you can have comments made by some NGO's as a evidence..esp, in mY country where basically any one can make his own NGO and can be easily bias towards its cause.Thanks--Iwazaki 16:12, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nina

[5] this is the earliest version].Where is the word "Acquittal" here ?? The citations clearly says that, but article surprisingly missing it ! What I meant by hurry,is also evident here..Immediately after making the article, the Author categorized this as "state terrorism" !!While the source clearly says SL government took this case to the courts and The Author him self have taken the "Authority" in naming this as a "State terrorism" !! And surprisingly(not to me) this still remain as a part of "state terrorism" even though the Government Attorney general(himself belong to the Tamil community) had filed a case against the Accused and the JURY declared them innocent !! The obvious desire for this article is evident..And yes,he did it in a hurry because he needed to push his case. And the Sri Lankan monitor looks like a dubious source to me..And the other source(UTHR) does not given any figure for number of deaths..It just says "There has hardly been any expression of concern over the Jury’s verdict in the Mylanthanai massacre case"..So, I believe the number of death is WP:HOAX.Thanks.--Iwazaki 16:46, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Populating Categories[edit]

I'm actually not too sure, never having done so myself... Wikipedia:Categorization#How_to_create_categories says that by placing [[Category:name]] the category is created autommatically, however in my experience (all of two minutes ago :) this only produces a broken link which links to a non-existent page. Perhaps as more articles are added the article page will be created and filled - or you could create it manually by inseting a short intro, or just starting it off. Sorry I couldn't be of any help... I'd be very happy if you could join us, but I have to warn you, it will not be smooth sailing. (See what I wrote to Snowolfd4!) – Sebastian 23:24, 24 January 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Wikiproject Human Rights[edit]

I would like to join. I saw your name on the list and since I had interacted with you once before, briefly, I thought I'd ask you how to join. I joined my first Wikiproject yesterday (the LGBT project), but I don't quite recall the procedure. Thanks! – Joie de Vivre 18:44, 5 February 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Re:[edit]

Dear NinaOdell,

Thank you for the nice words back in early January. Even since then, the article has been tremendously improved. I just wanted to thank you once again and let you know that I just nominated it in the FAC process. LaSaltarella 19:35, 3 March 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Hello,

I've requested an arbitration regarding the conduct of the editor Freedom skies and listed you as a party because of his personal attacks on you.

I can understand a desire to avoid revisiting the things he said, but it would be valuable if you could write a brief statement at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration#Freedom skies.

Just tell the Arbitration Committee what you told the Personal attack intervention noticeboard.

Thank you.

Also, I don't know if this will make you feel better, but you are far from the only Wikipedia contributor who has been on the receiving end of Freedom skies' insults and gratuitous incivility.
It is not unusual for Freedom skies to treat editors who disagree with him like that, including myself.

Question For An Old Friend[edit]

I don't know if you've seen this, but is it just me, or is it whenever someone tries to make this place better, somebody just acts rude to you? Kind of frustrated with a situation yesterday on Kansai-ben. Just Heditor review 00:15, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

An Arbitration case involving you has been opened: Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Freedom skies. Please add any evidence you may wish the arbitrators to consider to the evidence sub-page, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Freedom skies/Evidence. You may also contribute to the case on the workshop sub-page, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Freedom skies/Workshop.

LGBT WikiProject newsletter[edit]

SatyrBot 05:15, 3 April 2007 (UTC) [reply]

As mentioned in Wikiproject India newsletter of March 2007, the weekly collaboration of the Indian wikiproject has fallen from its once high feats. This message is to request the users to visit the collaboration page and help rejuvenate it.

The present collaboration of the week is Religion in India. Please go through the talk page of the article to see the proposed changes in the article. Regards.--Dwaipayan (talk) 05:45, 17 April 2007 (UTC) [reply]

My RFA[edit]

Hi NinaOdell,

How are you?

I don't know if you remember me, in case you do not, I worked on the James McCune Smith page extensively with you, and User: Cocoaguy.

Anyway, I am trying to become an administrator.

Right now I am in the middle of the RFA process.

If possible, your input for my RFA would be greatly appreciated.

Here's my RFA page: Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Psdubow.

Thank you very much for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Psdubow 23:16, 7 May 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Hi. I'm sorry to bother you, but as a LoCE member, I just wondered if you would be willing to have a look through the Sheerness‎ article. It is currently a Featured Article Candidate and needs a copy-edit for grammar by someone who hasn't yet seen it. Any other ways to improve the article would also be welcome. Thank you very much, if you can. Epbr123 17:47, 8 July 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Notice of inactivity[edit]

Neutrality Project[edit]

Hi, I'm trying to ensure that the Neutrality Project has not become inactive. If you would still like to participate in it, please re-add your name to the Review Team list. Jame§ugrono 07:47, 15 November 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Greetings from the League of Copyeditors. Your name is listed on our members page, but we are unsure how many of the people listed there are still active contributors to the League's activities. If you are still interested in participating in the work of the League, please follow the instructions at the members page to add your name to the active members list. Once you have done that, you might want to familiarise yourself with the new requests system, which has replaced the old /proofreading subpage. As the old system is now deprecated, the main efforts of the League should be to clear the substantial backlog which still exists there.
The League's services are in as high demand as ever, as evinced by the increasing backlog on our requests pages, both old and new. While FA and GA reviewers regularly praise the League's contributions to reviewed articles, we remain perennially understaffed. Fulfilling requests to polish the prose of Wikipedia's highest-profile articles is a way that editors can make a very noticeable difference to the appearance of the encyclopedia. On behalf of the League, if you do consider yourself to have left, I hope you will consider rejoining; if you consider yourself inactive, I hope you will consider returning to respond to just one request per week, or as many as you can manage. Merry Christmas and happy editing, The League of Copyeditors.
